I plan to be on the phone the second I get a bfp. Of course, I still don't know what I am doing for a doctor. I really need to find an ob near me. I should probably start calling them now so I know where to go to. I guess tomorrow I will talk to the RE about this and see if he can refer me to someone close to me.

I will be making an appointment right away. Especially considering how long it usually takes to get a doctors appointment around here. (At least a month, usually 2-3 months)

I'll call right away. Because I have a history of both molar pregnancy & an ectopic, they'll likely want to do bloodwork right away & then an early u/s to find the heart beat. I only have 1 tube & my Dr said that they will want an early u/s with each pregnancy. Seeing DS's heartbeat was one of the most exciting moments for DH & I, so I'll be looking forward to it whenever we get our BFP.

I won't go in until 10-12 weeks unless I have an issue.

They will make a confirmation appointment and a physical type thing around 8 weeks. I will be going in for blood work though this time right away because of the m/c.

Instantly for bloodwork with my RE and then I'll schedule an appointment with the midwife as soon as I can too.

Ill probably call the next business day and I probably won't get an appointment until around 9 weeks. I will use the same OB as last time and she didn't see me until 9 weeks with my first. I got an ultrasound and a little picture of my bean to take home ;-) I still have it framed on my desk!!

My last pregnancy (miscarried), I called as soon as doctor opened that morning. Couldn't have waited even if I wanted to, DH called me every 5 minutes that day confirming I made an appt... Can't wait for that again!

With my old Ob it was 10 - 12 weeks before I would get an appointment. With the RE I think it will be ASAP. I think I'm going to be high risk this go around so I'm sure I will be seeing a lot of someone.

I called that Monday morning and the earliest they would see me (even when I called last week trying to push for an earlier appt ) was 8 weeks. BUT I will actually be 7 weeks because I O'd late.

My docs are the same way. They said if I get pregnant again they would do lots of scans. The problem for me is that I moved. I have been thinking about just going to my old docs for the first few weeks and then transferring but they are like two hours away. I may ask the RE if they know a good doc in my area.
