How long have you been trying? What keeps you going?
We have been ttc since Aug 07. I had an ectopic in Nov 07 and have been ttc every since. When I lost my tube I really didn't think it was going to slow me down this much. I thought it might take a little longer but wasn't expecting to still be ttc in 2009.
Watching my JM girls get pregnant really keeps me going. I have seen a lot of gals struggle to conceive on JM so I get excited when any of my friends get pregnant. Also, you girls and the AIP girls always lift me up when I am feeling down.
(((HUGS))) back to all of you gals from me.

We've been actively trying for 7 months now. I really thought that we hadn't gotten pregnant before because we weren't paying attention to the timing and all of that. I didn't think it would take this long, but when I think about it, there are lots of other girls who have been at it much longer than I have.
What keeps me going? The fact that being a mom is my dream "job" and I'm not ready to give up on that dream yet. This is the thing that I know I will be FANTASTIC at. There are people that feel like they were made to be... a teacher or a doctor. I feel like I was made to be a mommy.
((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))) )) For all of us who keep on truckin'!

Awww hugs to both Patty and Nikki! We just hit month 6... I know it doesn't sound long compared to some, but for some reason it was a milestone that was a real emotional blow.
I want this, more than anything I want this. I was married previously and that DH and I were ttc until I found out he was just using me wanting children as a way to get sex. We divorced, a year later he was remarried and his wife was pregnant. Talk about a blow to my emotional wellbeing. So, in a way, I feel like I've been ttc for 3.5 years rather than 6 months.
As hard as it was to get a very clear BFP and have it taken away, that's what will keep me going... I know I was close and didn't even know if I could get that far.
Good luck and baby dust to all!

We're on cycle 8 since our m/c and cycle 13 since we started ttc # 2. It's why I don't post very often. It's too much of a reminder that we keep trying and keep failing.

We're on 8 months of trying-seriously thought that I would be preggos a lot sooner. But still holding onto hope that one day it will be my turn.

We've been trying since December 07. At this point, we're just taking things as it comes.

We've been trying since Feb 2009 but really this is only the 5th cycle TTC. The first couple of cycles I was off birth control were really long and our timing was WAAAY off so there really was no chance. For four cycles we had decent timing and then I had a BFP in July, but miscarried in August.
It didn't feel like it was taking so long before I was pregnant, I was prepared for it to take 6 cycles at least and I was surprised and so happy that it was less than that. I've only had one cycle since the m/c so I shouldn't be discouraged...but honestly it hit me pretty hard. I didn't expect that.

We've been trying a little over six months now and I have had 3 m/c in that time.
I think we just about have it figured out now. I should get some blood test results back today that will tell me if I have a blood clotting issue. If that is the case then we at least know what we are dealing with and can do something about it. All the waiting is so hard, but hopefully we can stop waiting soon!

We're going on 1 year of TTC our first. The first few months, my cycle was all a mess after coming off BCP, but they're all good now. One last try, and then we see the doctor on Oct 19...so that will either be to talk about alternatives...or... for a blood test to confirm those 2 pink lines!! We will see!
I'm feeling good about this month...
   to all of us!!

We've been TTC since July 08, so this is cycle 16. I had a chemical in March 09, a m/c @ 6 weeks in july 09, and another possible chemical in August 09. So here I am just hoping for a sticky baby!!
What keeps me going. JM most of the time. I don't know...i want a baby. And i know eventually i'll get one. But if I want it apparently i have to work for it...

We have been trying since December 08, although there have been four months or so since then that we were NTNP, including this month. Since a couple of months ago, I have just been feeling like I needed a break, so although we usually BD around the time I know I O, I haven't been temping or anything else.
As far as what keeps me going, same as what the other girls have said! I really do feel that I am supposed to be a mommy, and I KNOW I will, someday.
Thanks for the extra hugs Patty! :0)

I've been TTC since March of 2006. 43 cycles. We've had 6 chemical pregnancies or early miscarriages (depends on which doc you talk to as to how they classify it) in that time. The thing that keeps me going..... watching my husband play with other peoples children and with my children from my first marriage and knowing what an amazing Daddy he is going to be (and is!) and wanting to make sure that he has a baby of his own keeps me going.

We're on month 14 of trying in earnest. In that time we've miscarried once.
What keeps me going, is that I've wanted this since I was a little girl. I always though I'd grow up to be a mommy. I still believe I will get pregnant. Dh keeps me going too. He's so positive, and so in love with the idea of being a father.
