How are you feeling? Have you been to your first appt? Are you having morning sickness yet? Oh and do you have any gender instincts?

Ugh, M/S slowly creeped up the end of the last week and was full force yesterday. It woke me up in my sleep, twice. I havent actually thrown up yet, but today I was close!
I am really tired today because I had to wake up and pee so much last night. On top of that, coffee sounds disgusting today, so I didn't get ANY caffeine in my system (which is also a good thing).
My first u/s and appt is in 10 days!!! On the 15th!!! I am so excited, it will bring me such a peace of mind once I see or hear that h/b!!

Yay Candace, about the appt/u/s, not the morning sickness, lol!
I am getting over the m/s - slowly. Still never feel like eating dinner so I try to make up for it early in the day! Have my 2nd appt Wednesday and my Early Risk Assessment u/s TOMORROW!!!! I am so excited b/c my other 2 u/s were just to quickly check for a hb and it just looked like a blob!! I'm going to ask about the gender, but it's really too early to tell. But it can't hurt to ask. I am NOT predicting a gender myself b/c I would have bet you that both my other 2 were BOYS right up til the delivery, and they were both GIRLS! So I'm no good at guessing! (but if I did, I'd say boy, lol!) Horrible acne with both girls, but my skin is so clear this time, that I went off my topical meds!
Ok, I wrote a book.

They offer the ERA (blood test combined with u/s to measure nuchal translucency - or fluid behind baby's head) to all patients at 12 weeks now instead of 16. It checks for Down Syndrome and Trisomy. Insurance doesn't always cover it but when you are OLD like me, lol, it does!
I didn't really think about the testing when I said ok to it, since if the test were abnormal, I'm not sure I'd do anything about it anyway...I don't want amnio or CVS etc... I just wanted to see my baby again, lol. But if the results are normal, then it will be nice to know and not worry too.

My SIL told me NOT to get that test because they thought her baby may have d/s and they were wrong! Just an FYI.

Yes, Candace, there's a 10% chance of false positives, which I was scared about, but since my other 2 kids are fine and there's no history in the family, I took a chance. I just got back from the u/s and they said baby is great! My chances of Down Syndrome went from 1 in 237 (b/c of my age) to that of a 20 year old (1 in 4,721). So relieved, even though I wasn't worried in the first place, if that makes any sense!?
BUT, the umbilical cord was between baby's legs so they couldn't tell boy or girl (it's kinda early anyway). So I will have to wait 5 weeks.

Just checking in also.
Ive had all day nausea from about 4 weeks but no vomiting yet. I cant eat much so my staple diet pretty much consists of toast and cereal.
Ive had my first appointment which went great and I go in for my first u/s in 2 weeks on the 23rd. My doc thinks there may actually be twins because of my higher progesterone level and the fact I took clomid. Im excited to find out.
I have a feeling this baby is going to be a boy. I dont mind though, as long as its healthy boy or girl is fine.

I usually end up cutting down to one cup of coffee because it just doesn't feel/taste the same when you are pregnant. I am excited to hear about all your preggie symptoms and can't wait to see your ultrasound pics!

I had very different symptoms with my boys than my girls. I am really good at guessing my kids' genders. I Just feel different. I am probably jinxing myself by saying this.

I'm checking in... for me no throwing up but straight nausea for the last week. I haven't had much cramping lately, kinda decreased when I hit 6 weeks. Boobs are sore if not in a bra of some sort. Face broke out terrible which I love right before my wedding. First u/s since my er visit is today. I'm nervous and excited because its been almost two weeks and I'm hoping there's a baby there. levels are increasing nicely and I had my big set of tests yesterday and my sugar level tested. First ob appointment is the 13th. I get a pap and u/s then and the results of my bloodwork. hoping everything is fine. Dh is coming tonight but will miss the 13th. darn army takes the fun out of having a baby.

I'm checking in! Just threw up, if ya wanted to know. Anyway, I was in the ER again three nights ago for light spotting, and everything checked out fine! DF and I got to see our baby, and it looked like it was dancing! The tech said, "Uh oh, someone likes 11 o' clock at night. You're in for some rough nights." Haha! I guess I'll be getting kicked a lot when I'm trying to sleep at night--as soon as I can feel baby moving, that is! I can't wait for that!
Otherwise, my all-day-long-sickness seems likes it's easing up a little, even though I just threw up. It's slowly becoming genuine morning sickness, meaning that I'm starting to feel a lot more back to myself by around 1 p.m.
