Should I be taking these already?

If so, what kinds are out there? And are they all the big "horse pills"?

I just take the over the counter ones. They aren't horse pills. Some prenatals are but the ones I get are not too bad.

Absolutely!! You are supposed to start prenatals 3 months before TTC if you can. I take the CVS brand - they are large but not huge. I'd say average. I was told by my doctor that you don't need the prescription ones - the only difference usually is that they add in a stool softener to combat the extra iron.

Yeah... definitely get yourself on a prenatal! I've been taking mine since April.

If you have trouble with pills, and it sounds like you might since you're asking if they're huge... I'd recommend taking a capsule prenatal.

I have always had trouble swallowing pills... so if I take anything, it has to be capsule because they float and that makes swallowing them much easier for me.

I take Twinlab Prenatal Care. I get them from the Vitamin Shoppe for $19.99 a bottle.

The over counters are not bad but be sure to eat with them, I am one of the unlucky ones who gets sick if I don't.
