Well, after DH being gone the last 3 months during my O week, this month, I vowed to pinpoint my O as best I could. He left today, for a total of 25 hours (going from San Diego to...uh...Delaware, I think) and he'll be back tomorrow night. I thought we'd be good, since I almost always O around CD 14. But then, on CD 6, my FM gave me a HIGH reading. I was so worried I'd O when he left! Negative OPKs on CD 6, 7, and 8 (skipped CD 9), but all high readings on FM. We've been BD'ing every day, just to be safe (which was just awesome since we had 4 of his aunts and uncles staying with us all weekend....which meant secret BD on the recliner when they were all asleep!)

Today, CD 10, PEAK reading on FM, and what I think is a positive OPK on the Answer test. But, to be safe, I used a digi as well....

Sooooooooooo....it's looking good, no? (the OPK on the bottom and the digi are from this morning, pic taken after about 2 min)

Do you think we'll be ok this month on timing? We BD'ed this morning (and the past 3 days too), and he'll be back tomorrow night, late. We should be ok, right?

I am not the best person to answer but it sounds to be like you hve a darn good chance! I hope it works our for you though!!!

I had a side question for you though. I notice you are using the Answer brand OPK's and was wondering if they work well for you. I used them once before and didnt have much luck but it was when I first started trying and wasnt sure what I was doing quite yet. Do you just use those first and then if your test looks + than you use a digital to be sure? Because I have such a looong cycle that I dont think I could afford using only digitals and would prefer the Answer ones since so many come in one package. Thanks in advance!

I've had really bad luck with the Answer OPK's, but kept using them because they are cheap. This month, I decided to keep going with the Answers, but also get a pack of digi's to use when I thought my Answers were getting close to positive. I also use a fertility monitor, so that is another check point. But yeah, my Answers have rarely given me anything but results that are either obviously negative or "i have no idea if this is positive or not, but it's close". I would get a pack of digis, and when your CM and Answers are starting to tell you that you're close, use a digi!

Good luck!

That is another good idea, I think I may do that! This last time I tried using them I had a couple that looked so dark but I knew they werent quite as dark at the control so I was just lost with them. This time I am exited to, I have a plan!! Still hoping I wont need to but now I am ready to go!
