Update on my Nephew who was burned

First off I want to thank all of you for your prayers,God was listening.Jordan is coming home tomorrow,he was in the burn unit at Memorail Hospital in Springfield IL for 10 days.He started out with ice baths two times a day and had his legs scrubed to rid the dead tissue,this took 4 days,then his legs were skin grafted,they took the skin from the back of his thighs.6 days later(tomorrow)he gets to come home.He will have treatment in his home.I am so glad and thankful!!!Also my son is getting an award for saving his life.The fire dapartment is having a dinner(donated by HyVee),Pepsi is donating the drinks,WalMart is awarding him a new awesome bike.The Firefighter Association,our state representative,the school board and the sheriff is going to be there.We are so excited and so happy that Jordan will be there too.Here are some pics.

I'm so glad he's coming home and doing so well! What a scary, awful thing for him to go through.

How awesome for your son though!! He definitely deserves the award. Good for him!

I am SOOOO incredibly happy to hear that your nephew is doing so well!! Thank God that your son was so quick in his thinking and reaction. I don't even know him and I'm proud!! I can only imagine how yall are feeling right now.

Please post some photos from his awards ceremony and tell him congratulations, he truly is a hero.

I'm so happy to hear that your nephew is recovering so well. Your son was definitely his guardian angel to be in the right place at the right time that day.

I'm sure that he's got a bit of a road ahead of him to get completely back to normal and all of those treatments must've been awful, but things could've been so much worse.

Congrats to your son for being commended for saving his cousin's life.

He looks like his spirits are up. I am so glad to hear that he is doing better. Your nephew should feel really proud. I would like to see pics as well.

I am so glad to hear this great news and that he's on the road to recovery. And kudos again to your son for thinking so quickly....I can't imagine how proud you are!!

I'll be keeping your nephew in my thoughts during his recovery!
