I think this is confusing for a lot of new charters. You can't just use temps to determine your o date. You should be using all of your fertile signs, especially cm. A lot of new charters assume that the lowest temp they see right before a spike is the day they o. I know that I did the same thing when I first started charting and Shawna would come along and tell me to look at my cm.
Here are some things to help you determine your o date. Your first post o temp should be above your previous six pre o temps. On your chart I don't see that happen until CD17. Even though you had a nice temp spike between CD15-16 your temp on CD 16 is still lower than your previous six pre o temps. I think CD 16 could be right based on your cm but it could also be CD17.
Your peak day is the last day that you see fertile cm. This is most likely the day you ovulated. It doesn't always work this way because you can dry up before you ovulate (I usually do). But if you are looking at your chart and you are not sure the day you should go by your cm. In your case, you had your last day of fertile cm on CD16.
You were still having fertile cm after the 15th so that indicates that you probably didn't ovulate yet. If you had ovulated your cm should have started drying up.
So the two big things are when you see your temp go above your previous last six temps and when you see the last day of fertile cm.
Also remember it is not an exact science. But, when in doubt use your cm as a guide.
