For most gals charts I use cm to go by but I don't make a lot of cm. I also don't usually have the best cm on my o date. I usually have it a few days before my o date. I tend to use my opks and temps as my leading indicators but then I will look to see how long it has been since I have had fertile cm.

That's actually really normal. For many women, the slippery or slick feeling continues for a day or two after the maximum amount of CM has disappeared already. The last day of feeling slick is still the CM Peak, even if there isn't any CM left to look at. Dr. James Brown studied the relationship between CM, hormones, and ovulation in over 800,000 cycles to confirm this. He helped to confirm that the egg is usually released on the last day of slippery/slick CM, the first dry day after Peak, or the second dry day after Peak. So it sounds like your CM is lining up with ovulation in a perfectly normal way!!!

I think so too but it used to confuse me. (I am sure you know because you used to answer all my cm questions.) This cycle was tricky for me because I think the Clomid affected the little bit of cm I made. I really didn't notice any but I used preseed and kept Instead soft cups up there so much it was hard to tell what I was feeling.

Yes! Clomid has a tendency to dry up CM...which seems kind of counter-productive since you need both satisfactory CM and successful ovulation to conceive. So good move using the Preseed!

I go by cp and temps. While opks help me predict, sometimes i o on my first pos opk, and somtimes i o two days after. My cervix seems to open right before o, and my temp spikes seem pretty accurate. I don't make enough cm to judge by that alone.

I usually go by my opks, b/c my cm is not very good . I have never had ewcm around O, and even my "watery cm" is a little lotiony. I need to figure out my cm a little bit more.

Usually I don't have a lot of CM, so I usually go by temps/OPKs. But this cycle my temps are wacky and I've had loads of CM, so I'm going by CM and OPKs.

I'd like to go by my cm, but I'm not good enough yet at knowing what type is what. I usually try to go by dates b/c I usually O around the same time each month.
