If the HPT budget cuts into our food and toiletries budget, he'll step in.

He'll have his opinions about the birth plan/labor plan and we'll decide something together.

Names, we don't always agree on names.

I think we're going to wait until the baby is here (hopefully sooner than later) to decide on a name. We also won't know the sex until the baby is born. That we agree on.

None - I don't tell him when I test or how often and I pay for my tests anyway.

We struggle with names but we basically both need to agree 100% or a name is out the window.

your labor/birth plan?
zero - I'm only allowed to deliver via c/s.

when and how many hpts you take? Uh as you already know, very little.
your baby's name?I usually come up with the names and then he says it's okay or hate it. I would let him have more say but he never comes up with names. If I bug him to think of them he always just procrastinates on it.
your labor/birth plan?He lets me do what I want. I think he figures I am the one dealing with the pain so I can make my own choices. He is pretty easy going with this stuff.

HPTs - NONE!! He probably doesn't have a clue how many i have.

baby's name...we've discussed these. I came up with the perfect girls name and he agreed to it. I let him pick the boys names and i agreed with them...so i'd say he got a pretty equal shot. Now it all depends on whether we have a boy or girl i guess.

labor plan...i doubt he'll fight me on this at all but i'm sure we'll discuss the details together and come up with what we want to do that is best for me and the baby.

your baby's name? This is an equal deal. We are both pretty positive that we'll have a girl and we picked out the name together. If it's a boy... we've got some first names we like, but we haven't come up with a middle name yet.

your labor/birth plan? I used to joke that I wanted an elective C-section so that my hoo-ha wouldn't be involved! LOL!! He put the kibosh on that real quick!

He doesn't really have a strong opinion re: natural vs. drugs or anything... so really it'll be whatever I'm comfortable with.

He doesn't know when it is reasonable to start testing or not, so he doesn't get too involved

We picked out names together. I think both were my idea originally but he signed off on them.

Don't know yet, we haven't even really thought about it that far.

your labor/birth plan? He has made a suggestion in the past, but I happened to agreed....natural if possible. But, we both know if I cant, then meds will be the way to go. But I am really praying for natural.

DH does limit my stash or I would probably have a ton and start testing tomorrow LOL.
We pick the names together. We both suggest stuff and then decide together what it will be.
As for labor I do what I want and he supports me in that. We tried natural for the first and he was great trying to help. When I changed my mind he was ok with that too. He figures its my body and my pain. He is just there for me

. He is also very easy going in everything.

I don't think he really knows how many I have or when a good time to use them is.
Your baby's name? We both have to like it...I have a harder time with names though b/c I'm a teacher and names often have a child already associated with it.
Your labor/birth plan? He really leaves that up to me.

Totally! Well, I think DH knows how many I have since this one he went out and bought some for me, then came with me to get more....

Baby Names.....Well, we've discussed a few, but haven't decided on any. The name he likes for a boy I said no b/c that's the name of an ex b/f. We'll see....I can be pretty convincing to get my way, but I figure we both need to agree since it's obviously such an important decision!

Labor Plan....Well, I'm thinking I will almost definetly have a c-section b/c of my Spina Bifida. DH knows this, and is just worried, in general, how everything will affect me even though at my pre-conception appt the doc said I should be fine (no guarantees of course). I want DH as involved as possible though.

your baby's name? With Paige only to agree if he liked it this time I will let him have more say as long as he is not doing stupid names NO FRANKLIN JAMES!!!!

your labor/birth plan? He does not care as long as we are both OK I want to try a VBAC but with 2 previous c-sections I am not sure they will let me so they DR will have to let me know if I can even try. With my Diabetes I am scared to have another c-section.

when and how many hpts you take? none. I pay for the tests, and it's my only guilty pleasure. He doesn't complain much anyway other than to tease me about it once in a while.
your baby's name? We will agree on a name or the name won't be used. It's just as much his baby as mine, so he has as much right to help come up with the name.
your labor/birth plan? If he has a legitimate concern, then I will listen and we can address the issue. In the end, I will put my foot down and do what I believe is best for me and my baby. It's my body that has to deal with the physical pains of labor and I WILL be as comfortable as possible during labor.

when and how many hpts you take? As long as I use the cheap HPTs he doesn't actually care when or how many I use. They just cost so much that we both prefer cheap comes first, then better for confirmation.
your baby's name? He gets equal say. Actually, he's the one that came up with our baby's name.

your labor/birth plan? He might make suggestions, like waiting until a later point to induce (all 3 have been some form of induction), or trying to get a specific doctor, but in the end he does leave it all up to me. He doesn't try to actively impose his desires.
