I have pretty intense o pains. They feel like sharp stabbing pains right around my hip bone. But, I have heard a lot of other people describe them as a crampy feeling. I think they feel different for different people.

I used to have them before my ds was born...but now I either don't feel it anymore or I haven't noticed. Mine were never super intense, just a kind of a random dull pain.

Mine are usually a dull pain on one side but Saturday they were kinda intense.... I never really noticed them until I started trying to conceive.

I'm wondering if I feel them... I had a pain last night right above my right hip and today have felt crampy off and on. How long do they normally last? I've always attributed every pain I've had to IBS but now that I'm charting and knowing where I'm at in my cycle, I think it may be O pains

I get O pains... it's a sharp pain around my hip area. For me, if I cough, sneeze or laugh hard... the pain gets worse. This cycle I got pretty intense pains. Whenever I got up off the couch, they would intensify. Once I was up, and moving it was fine... but that initial up and down from the sofa... that hurted!

From the location you're talking about, coupled with your temps doing a nosedive... I wouldn't be surprised if that's exactly what you're feeling.

As for length of time... it varies from woman to woman. They can last anywhere from a few minutes up to 48 hours. So it's really different for everyone.

I can't wait to see today's temp. I'm hoping for a spike!!

I have had them before, but this cycle, they were horrendous! They were like a sharp pain...not at all like AF cramps, and it would feel like someone was driving a knife in my tummy...just to the side of my hip bone!

I usually have dull O pains, but this cycle they are in full force! Two days ago on CD 16 they were really bad, like a sharp stabbing pain.

Wow, how amazing to think you can feel ovulation! I have never felt that, as far as I know. *Jealous* (a bit)!
