Think this might be an anovulatory or at least delayed-O cycle

First time I've ever had a cycle like this since I've been charting (this is cycle #9 since BCP).

Should have O'd sometime Sat, Sun, or at the very latest, Mon but no O yet.

Gotten a couple, close-but-not-quite-pos OPK's (I went ahead and marked a pos on my chart for the darkest one just so it doesn't seem like they're all stark white neg's). Temp is staying right around 97.3. Had watery & EWCM off & on for a while (but I've also been taking Robitussin/Mucinex - mainly becaue I really have been congested lately, but also figured it can't hurt the TTC). And my cervix hasn't quite made it to HSO.

Not sure if I'm going to O or not. I guess time will tell and although I've read that it's perfectly normal to have an anovulatory cycle every now and then, I can't help but worry a bit. But then I have had some different thing going on this cycle including the Mucinex (never tried it before), my weight loss is going pretty good this month, and I have that new job (maybe my cycle is adjusting to being around different women - I've heard that that can happen).

But then, maybe it will just be a late O which might work out for the best since BF's back has been bothering him and we haven't done any BDing in the past 1 1/2 weeks.

I think the new job could be what is delaying things. I think you will ovulate. I really do. You have a lot of good fertile signs so just hang in there. I have had a few cycles where I ovulated unusually late. Hopefully your temp is up tomorrow!!

Not that anyone really even cares, but I got a legit positive OPK today so maybe I'll O within the next couple days. Now I just hope BF's back is feeling better.

tchelle... I don't like to hear you think we don't care I could've sworn that I responded to this thread... but now I don't see it. (scratching head)

Can you post a pic of your OPK? You know how we love pics!!!

I do know about the phenomena of women who spend a good deal of time together having their cycles synch up. It's an odd thing. It used to happen to me and one of my GF's.

I certainly wouldn't go so far as to call this an anovulatory cycle just yet. I know you generally O before this... but all sorts of factors play a role in O'ing, sometimes things we never even give much thought to.

The change in workplace could really be a factor. While you may not feel stressed persay, there is all sorts of newness, learning new things, meeting new people, learning the dynamics of a new work environment... all of those things could be making more of an impact on your body than you would initially think.

I'd still love to see your for sure + OPK. I think your temps staying nice and low along with the ewcm are definitely promising signs that O may be on the way!!

And remember... even if BF's back isn't feeling that great... you could always do more of the "heavy lifting" so to speak!!

Looking at your chart I don't think you have O'd yet, but I scrolled back through your charts and you have at least one other chart I saw where it looked like you O'd really late like this before. I think you are probably just Oing a little later than usual. I'd keep using your OPKs and see what happens. Good luck hun!

Looks like I finally did O, but we haven't BD'd in nearly 2 weeks. Waste of a month. . .

It does look like you O'd with your big temp jump this morning. Sorry you didn't get much BDing in! But at least you know it wasn't annovulatory!

Sorry to see you missed your window! Really glad to see you O'd though Hope you get your crosshairs soon, and that next month your O comes earlier so you don't have to sit around wondering about it. I hate that!
