I am asking you all, because we all feel our cervix ALL the time. So....I felt my cervix today, the first time in a week or so, and it felt a little open (I think) and high. Is this normal? Should I be concerned? I go see my DR tomorrow anyway, so I wont call and bug them. I have no spotting or cramps, just your typical tugs on my left side here and there. I just need to stop over analyzing!!

High is good. It should feel closed but feeling a little open I think is pretty normal. I know my cervix always feels a tad open. If you are not having spotting or anything I would not worry about this. It sounds normal to me.

I have only checked my cervix in early pregnancy with my last one and that was when I had a miscarriage and ectopic (it was a weird situation) so I don't have a good perspective on what normal is.

My cervix with my son was mainly high firm and slightly open (remember i had already given birth to 2 kids and had 2 miscarriages and 4 D & Cs so im kinda always open).
I hope your Drs appointment goes fab tomorrow. are you having a US?

Good luck Candace!! I stopped checking mine a couple weeks after my BFP, but I've had kids before so mine is always a little open. I didn't pay much attention to where it was though since the doctors don't check it. They care about bleeding and cramps so if you haven't had those, don't worry!

Can't wait to see pics!!

With Ethan (my first pregnancy to term) my cervix was always so high I couldn't feel it, so I'm not sure if it was totally closed or a little open. My OB told me that my uterus tilts backwards a little bit & that's why I generally have trouble checking my CP. With all my M/Cs, I got brown spotting for at least 4 days before I actually started bleeding & I had really bad cramps. I wouldn't be too concerned with the CP. Your hormones are doing CRAZY things right now!
I can't wait for you to see that tiny HB! It is the most wonderful feeling in the world... right up until you hold your baby. Make sure you KUP after your appointment!
