So the first postpartum cycle where I actually ovulated just ended... and depending on which chart you go by (ff or babymed), I had either an 11 or 12 day luteal phase. Way(!) different from my old 17 day lp. Should I be concerned about how short it is? And how likely is it to affect my fertility?

Am I just worried over nothing?

I think you are worrying a little too much. A 11-12 day luteal phase is okay. If it were 10 days or shorter I would be concerned. My luteal phase is usually 13 but I have had shorter ones. Are you breastfeeding? If so that is probably the reason why. My luteal phase was a lot shorter when I was breastfeeding.

If you are concerned you can try taking vitamin B6. It is supposed to be helpful for lengthening your luteal phase and quite a few girls over here use it.

P.S. Welcome to the board! I hope you will be sticking around!

I think it might take a few cycles for you to regulate back to normal. My cycles were really off for a little while PP.

How old is your little one? My son was 9 months old before I even got a PP period. I didn't get AF until I was 100% done breastfeeding. Those BFing hormones can wreak havoc on your cycles.
Can you post a link to any/all of your charts? I think we'd be able to offer better advice if we could see your chart.
Welcome to JustMommies! Be warned though, this site is kind of addictive.
