It looks like my temps are decreasing. I haven't ovulated, so I am not sure what this means.

Well the fact that your temps are dropping again makes me think you could be getting close to ovulating. Are you noticing an increase in cm? Have you noticed any mucous that looks like egg whites?

I have had egg white the past few days, but I still have a negative opk and I am on day 29 without O, so I just figured there was no way I would ovulate this late.

You can still O this late - you may just be having an off month! The egg white and dropping temps would also make me think you are about to O. I usually have EWCM and/or watery CM before I get my + OPK each cycle.

As the other ladies mentioned, a drop in temp could mean your O is coming up. Are your OPKs getting darker at all, even if still negative?

You could certainly ovulate this late - how long are your cycles normally?

I agree. You could be gearing up to O. I usually get EWCM before I get a positive OPK as well. Good luck!

I finally got a positive opk. Not sure if my temps are heading in the right direction. They are going up, but not a lot.

Mine usually go down before O, then a half a jump, then another jump so I'm thinking that with your + OPK you're O'ing! Good luck!

Wooohoo! I think you are going to see a big temp shift soon. You still have fertile cm so you probably haven't o'd yet but hopefully your temp will be up tomorrow.

Looks good! I think you will see cross hairs in a couple of days.

Thanks for the happy thoughts. What are crosshairs?

Everyone seems to say something different about how often to BD around Oing. Any practical advice?

Crosshairs are the red lines that FF puts on your chart once the program decides you've ovulated. The vertical line is on the day of ovulation, and the horizontal line (called the "coverline") is just a visual tool to help you see the two different temperature phases.

If you want to play with it, put in a fake high temp for tomorrow. I'm pretty sure it will show you crosshairs if you do.

My understanding about BD timing is that, unless your partner has an issue with low sperm count, the more often you BD in the three days before and the day of ovulation, the better.

Looking forward to watching your chart over the next couple of days for that confirmed O!
