I want to start buying my tests there since I buy so many of them. I don't know how it works. I set up an account there like several years ago but I have never used it. I had to unlock my account today but I think I am all set up now.

So how does this work? If you make a bid can you increase it if someone out bids you? How does this work? Please help me I want to start stocking up on tests for next cycle.

Yep, you can bid whatever you want, and if you are outbid, you can certainly bid again. There are some schools of thought that say you should always make your first bid the maximum you would pay...but I rarely live by that rule

You should get an email notice when you first bid, and then it will send you a notice if you are outbid, so you know to go back and rebid if you want.

What else can I help you with??

BTW, love the new siggy!

Thanks so much for your help! I am off to go find some bargains.

Thanks for the compliment on my sig. It was supposed to be my bfp sig. I spent hours on it and then had to replace the spot that was supposed to be for my bfp pic with a quote from one of my favorite songs. I am hoping it gives me good luck though. I haven't made a decent sig in months so I wanted to use it. I LOVE animation but it is very time consuming.

One more question. I put in a bid but it put it as my maximum bid. I didn't realize that was how it worked. I think I can go change that but should I just sit and wait to change it. I am probably willing to spend more than the average person but I don't want to be paying more than I have to. Should I put the highest amount I am willing to pay now or should I sit and wait.

I usually put in one bid, but usually I'll be willing to go higher, but don't want to spend more than I have to. I will sit and wait to see if I'm outbid, and if I am, then I'll go higher!

I'm not an ebay pro...so I may be wrong about this, but when I was bidding on something one time I put in my maximum bid and when someone else bid on it afterwords, I'm pretty sure it bid for me automatically until my maximum bid was reached.

I also like to wait until the last minute or so to bid, so it doesn't drive up the price. And I hit refresh over and over and over to see if someone else bid on it. When the nintendo wiis were really hard to find, I won one like that with like 40 seconds left in the auction.

And sometimes i don't like to do the auctions, so I just do the buy it now option.

Okay well I am going to try to get this figured out. I don't have any money in my paypal account (well not enough to buy this) so I am hoping they don't get annoyed if I have to do a paypal echeck. I haven't used my paypal acct in ages.

you can add a credit card to your paypal account... also you can add a bank account too so that you can transfer money into your paypal account as needed or as you use the paypal it just takes the balance from your credit card or bank account.
I hope you get the bid. Is it a bulk pack?

Grrrh I have a credit card on here. I transferred money but it said it takes 3 days. I am so irritated now I am going to have money in there but won't be able to use it for this transaction for three days or more. I think I may just lose this auction and try for another when my money is cleared.

I think that you can pay for the auction since you have pending money. Paypal has a customer service number that you could call and ask, but im almost positive. My paypal lets me pay for the auction using paypal and then automatically takes it from my credit card or bank account.

Okay well I may just end up having extra money in my paypal account.

I won I won I won! I am so excited. That was so much fun! I can't believe how easy that was! There were only two bidders and I bid a dollar more than the other bidder. I put in a fairly high max bid so maybe that is why I won. I still don't know exactly how this works but I am just so excited. I needed a little something to boost my spirits and now I will have 24 -2pack boxes of FRER on the way for next month! I can test every day if I want to! I still need to pay for them but I am sure I can get that figured out.

I am going to start looking for more deals because I am addicted now. This is awesome! Yah Yah Yah!

Thanks for the advice guys!

OMGosh, 48 FRERs?? LOL. That's awesome!!

While I was on the other night I saw a bunch of "damaged boxes" of answer and FRERs. I was thinking about it...but then I bid on a fertility monitor instead. lol.

Yeh those were the ones! I can't believe there weren't more people bidding. I wanted to bid on the Answers too but then my rational side said what the heck do you need that many tests for.
