Still Waiting...

on AF! I'm now 2 days late, which I know isn't much considering that some ladies have times when they are a week or more late, but for me it's weird because I always start right on time, like clockwork. I would be getting really excited at this point if it weren't for all the BFN's I've gotten. And the fact that I have little to no symptoms that would suggest that I am pregnant OR even that AF is on her way.

I didn't chart this month, so I am wondering (and have really no way of knowing) if I just O'd really late, or didn't O at all. It would be the first anovulatory cycle I have had since I started charting a year ago. I know you don't have to O to get your period, that you can get your period regardless of whether you O or not, but is not Oing a possible cause of not getting a period?

I think you might have ovulated a little later than usual. It is hard to say what is going on for sure. You don't have any data on your chart but do you have any instincts on when you ovulated?

I have been as much as 11 days late once. It was a long time ago but I think even if you are normally very regular you can have an off cycle and ovulate late.

I really hope the reason AF isn't showing is because you are pregnant.

I really don't have any kind of sense of when I might have O'd, this cycle has been so weird b/c I usually have REALY SORE BBS the day after I O, So I can pinpoint it that way even without temping. But this time I haven't had that. I am wondering if it has been weird too b/c my usual thyroid meds were on backorder (I have hypothyroidism) and I had to take Synthroid for most of this past month until they got more of mine in. I know any time you mess with your thyroid it can seriously screw with your hormones. So it very likely could be that.

I didn't realize you had hypothyroidism. I agree that might affect your hormones. I am still thinking positive thoughts for you!

I am thinking you might have O'd late as well. Without charting it's really hard to say when you O'd. Hopefully you will get a bfp or AF will show up.

I don't think it would be likely you would get your period without ovulating for quite some time. I have certainly heard of people having something like a period even though they were anovulatory - but it is usually spotting and a couple days of bleeding here and there after maybe two months without a period...so not like a normal period.

I think it is more likely you ovulated late or that you haven't yet.

OR...you may still be pregnant!

Thanks jenine! That sounds right to me. This is just so strange for me! Even though I haven't temped this cycle, I am thinking about starting tomorrow. Maybe that might help me have some idea of what's going on!

I temped this morning, and it was 97.88, but it was also about 2 hours later than I usually temp, so I don't know how accurate that is. I also tested, and still BFN...At this point I am wishing for some kind of symptoms, any kind at all, even if they are PMS!!
