Okay, filling in the details nicely so you all who haven't been following or might not keep my facts straight have it all in one place.

Oct 2 - BFP on HPT
Oct 6 - Blood test confirms pg hcg level 15
Oct 8 - hcg level 18
Oct 9 - some spotting starts
Oct 10 - hcg level still at 18 light to medium flow
Oct 11 - light flow tapers to spotting by evening
Oct 12 - hcg 20 spotting
Oct 13 to 16 - spotting
Oct 16 - hcg level 12
Oct 17 some spotting, but very very little
today no spotting no bleeding

Okay there is the bleeding/spotting/hcg info. Well I have been temping again since Monday and have been watching my chart and my temps dropping and dropping. If I didn't know what was going on with me my chart would look like any other chart that I had. With today's temp curiosity got the best of me because I swear I just looked like I was gearing up to O so I took an OPK and an HPT at the same time. I took the HPT to make sure the OPK wasn't showing positive from HCG being in my system.

Okay back up a little I took OPKs when I was testing out the hcg as well. The OPKs were stark white for the first week until my levels hit 18 to 20 range and then I finally did get some faint lines on the OPKs, but they were way lighter than the HPTs at that point and when the hcg dropped the OPKs went back to stark white so I am sure that if it was hcg making my OPKs change then the HPTs would be considerably darker than the OPKs. Anyhow on to the next thing, picture of my OPK.

Now tell me does that OPK look like someone who is gearing up to O or am I crazy? I have read a few sources say you can O with low levels of hcg in your system. I am soooo confused! Do you think that even with the light spotting and light bleeding that could be all there is for m/c? I am ready to pull my hair out. I am now afraid to bd because what if I AM Oing again and I still have hcg in my system. I mean what if I did and got pregnant and my hcg just never dropped. I wouldn't want doctors wanting to do a D&C because my levels started rising.

Then at the same time WHAT IF I AM ABOUT TO O???? Man, I really just want to do it! I mean that would be the most awesome thing if I could just be in the 2ww in a couple days. Arrrggggg I am going out to buy some digi OPKs later today to add some more insanity into my life. Any thoughts or comments appreciated.

I probably still have hcg in my system. On Friday my hcg level was 12. It could be out of my system, but probably not is my best guess. I don't know.

Yup, I was going to say what Kate said, it's not even a line that's hard to see... it's there... very confusing! I'm sorry Teresa!

I'm not really sure. I know how hard it is to wait to TTC again after a loss. I took OPKs after my d&c and DH and I bd'd with no success, but I'm glad we still tried. If I were you, I'd BD if you get a + OPK. My best friend never got her period after her m/c and now she's 14 weeks preg and they weren't even trying. Either way, I hope you get some answers soon. Sorry you're having to go through all of this confusion.

I think you may be ovulating. Your chart sure looks like you could be. I would keep using opks and see what happens. I hope you are ovulating!

I do too because she keeps calling me up and asking me questions like I know everything.

She says I am the fertility goddess. Could someone please tell that to my hpts?

P.S. Teresa I can joke with you because you know I love you. I hope you get some clarification soon.

Copying and pasting what I posted on ttc over here as an update.

I'm going to take an OPK at 10ish and see what happens. Either way I decided to sit things out. I started having all of these horrible what if feelings last night. Mostly I am concerned that there is still hcg in my system and higher than it should be (especially since the girls on the charting board could still see a line on my hpt which is probably because there is still hcg left). I am concerned about retained cells still being around and I know that it could be dangerous to leave them sitting there if that is the case. I figure I don't need to add any more confusion into my body, but either way I am testing with OPKs and glad that I did because we wouldn't have been avoiding. Dh wasn't too thrilled with me when I told him we couldn't bd last night, but he's always supportive of me (well most of the time). I figure I will keep charting to see if I actually do O, but I want to make sure my levels are down first and won't be having them rechecked until Friday. The thing that is awesome though is if I am getting ready to O then it won't be very long until next AF and unless doctor says I need a D&C then I won't have to be waiting things out but a couple weeks longer.

And for the record Patty does know everything, roflmbo. Well she's who I bounce things off of when I am really confused and I am really, really confused at the moment.

Hi teresa. Just wanted to let you know that after my miscarriage i didnt have a period before i was pregnant with Kayla. (I only bled after the D&C) and then when i had Kayla, they left placenta behind and I had to have 2 D & Cs and i heomaraged but still didnt have a "period" before i got pregnant with Ethan.
I think your temps look like you are about to O. I would get to it if i were you

Hi Teresa - first of all, I'm really sorry you are going through this (((((HUGS)))))

I don't have too much to add, I just wanted to say that after my m/c I had OPKs that looked like yours in that pic for quite a long time, about 10 days or so. Then they went white for a couple of weeks and finally, about 4 weeks after the m/c, they came back + as a normal ovulation and I did O.

So it could be you are getting ready to O, or it could be that the OPKs are picking up the residual hCG in your system.

I don't think there's anyway to know for sure which it is until your other signs confirm ovulation.

I hope your body gets back to normal and you get some resolution soon!

It looked like yesterday's. The digi was a bfn, but I still feel really strongly like I am gearing up to O. I started getting O pains last night and am getting them today. CP is HFC. I just posted on ttc that I have decided I am going to go for it. I am really scared about another loss, but I am not getting any younger and I really can't think of any medical reason why I shouldn't try despite what this midwife I saw had to say about it. I like my other midwife better. Anyhow, I will be taking another OPK this afternoon. We'll see what happens. Thanks for your support Nikki.
