Thanks everyone! I'm not all that upset...very excited to finally be seeing the doctor! I still have "some" hope that maybe I O'ed later than my chart says (TCOYF says it's CD 13 not CD 11)....and maybe there's still time. But if not, that's cool...onto the next!
Thanks to ALL you ladies... I <heart> you all!

I actually agree with TCOYF and I think you O'd on CD 13 so hold on and hopefully the doctor will have good news!

Well, regardless of wehther you O'd on CD 11 or 13, you look like you have a pretty darn clear implantation dip on CD 20. Which means your body hasn't been producing HCG for too long.
It could just be too early for the test to pick up the hcg.
Good luck at the doctor. My fingers, toes, and eyes are crossed for you.

Thanks everyone! Dr appt went well...he said there are no red flags with my cycles, so now we're just waiting on the results from DHs "swimmer tests" (he had it done a while ago, but this doc needs to evaluate them)...then after this cycle is over, he ordered some tests for me...bloodwork and possibly some sort of xray (cant remember the name right now, but basically they will inject my tubes and cervix with dye to make sure it's all clear in there). Other than that, he said even though it's been a year, since i had probably a few anovulatory cycles right after coming off BCP, and since we had at least 2 cycles recently where DH was traveling during my O week, it's really only been the equivalent of 6 months of trying. So, he said, unless DHs tests come back bad, or something shows in my insides...it might just be a wait and see kinda thing!

Sorry you got a BFN but maybe there's just not enough hcg yet for the HPT to pick it up? So glad your doctor's appointment seems to have gone well though! Hope you won't need the x-rays and labwork!!! I have a question though- why did DH have his swimmers tested? I am just curious since most docs wait until you've been trying a year to do tests on the woman.... Anyways, hope you get your BFP soon! When is AF due?

I think it is good you are getting things started with your dr. I wish I had started this sooner. I think I just had the same xray done. Is it a hysterosalpingogram HSG?
I am still hoping you might be pregnant this cycle. Since AF hasn't shown yet I am still holding out hope.

DH had his annual physical about a month ago....he asked the doctor to do "the test", and the doc asked how long we'd been trying. DH said "about 11 months". The doc asked again. DH gave same answer. The doc asked one more time "I'm sorry, i must not have heard you...how long have you been trying?". Finally, DH got it, and said "1 year!". Doc just winked and said, "alrighty then!". The doc knew we were close to the year mark, and knew that we had MY doc appt at the 1 year point, so he did the test anyway!
AF is due either today, tomorrow, wed, or thu...depending on which site of mine you go with. I'm inclined to think tomorrow or Thursday, depending on which O date you go with (either CD 11 or CD 13)!

Thanks, Patty. I've still got some hope too...and glad that we've started conversations with the doctor. And YES, that's exactly what that crazy x-ray is called!

Your doctor reminds me of one of my doctors. When I was pregnant with Angie I had some spotting and was stressed out and wanted an ultrasound. He kept asking me if I was sure on when my last period was and I kept saying yes. Then he was like if you are not sure of your dates we can do an ultrasound to find out how far along you are. Then he asks me again if I was sure. And it finally dawned on me why he was asking. I don't know why my pea brain didn't catch on sooner.
I really hope that you guys get your bfp soon! I think I would have not mentioned the times your dh was traveling. But since you already did I guess you have to just wait it out. I think it is good that he is starting to run tests for you. Hopefully everything will check out fine and you will get your bfp without any help.

We didn't really mention that he was gone the whole week, we just basically said that our BDing wasn't as frequent during those weeks We thought about that, and tried to be smart.

Sorry about the BFN. I'm glad that your doctor is being helpful and running tests. That's great! I hope you get some answers.
