Well just last month I purchased a new thermometer..from Walgreens (big pink & white one). I completely DO NOT trust the darn thing after having 4 days of the exact temp. And after a few seconds or rechecking it, each time a totally different reading. Where can I find myself a reliable thermometer ??? Even if I have to order online I will. THANKS !!!

Go to your pharmacy. They should have BBT thermometers in the family planning section!

I order mine from early-pregnancy-tests.com. I hate the Walgreens thermometer! I can't ever fine any bbt thermometers at the pharmacies around me. I pretty much have to go with early-pregnancy-tests to get mine. I like it and have never had a problem reading my chart with it.

I'm using the same thermometer this cycle and I don't trust it at all. I take the temp with my old thermometer and it's always much higher than what walgreens one says! I'm going to order another one too.

I ordered mine from...amazon? Drugstore dot com? I forget where. Anyway, it is the OviTrack and it's been fairly reliable.

Quite a few people on here had problems with the Walgreens ones. I got mine at WalMart and it has worked fine.

hi

when i was charting bbt, i had the walgreens one for 3 and a half months then i switched over to the one that walmart has.

i was lucky when i got it because they only had 4 of them left out for sale at the time.

the 4th month of charting was the month we got pregnant ! and it was month 23 of trying.

( the number 23 is my lucky number always have good things happen with that number )

so i would definately get another bbt.

best of luck and happy charting =)

Thanks everyone!
I ordered the "BD Basal Digital Thermometer" off amazon.com last night...sounded like it had good reviews. the only thing I'm not sure I'll like is that is makes a continuous "beep" sound until it is finished ( I guess to reassure you its in the proper position while taking it). Hmmmm, so far I think DH has no idea I even temp so this could be interesting

I have ordered mine from amazon before too. I am an amazonaholic. But I haven't used any that make a continuous beep. I think that might annoy me.

I should have ordered that beeping one...since I have a tendency to drift back off to sleep mid way through temping
