What is it about 7 dpo, every single darn cycle!?! Like every other month, spotting has begun at 7 dpo. No matter when AF comes, spotting begins at 7 dpo. I am hating my body right now! I'm so frustrated. Now I just wish AF would hurry up and get here, so I can move on to cycle 5. At this point, I don't know what to do. I'm never going to get my bfp with a 7 day luteal phase! Sorry to go on about it, but I needed to vent! Thanks for listening.

Have you talked to your Dr about it yet? When we were TTC#1 I was having similar problems. I would start spotting at 7-9DPO and then AF would come between 10-12DPO. I had multiple chemical pregnancies & when they did my BW my progesterone was always very low, too low to maintain the pregnancy. You could also try taking a B6 vitamin supplement to lengthen your LP. If that doesn't work after a few cycles, I'd call my Dr.
Good Luck!

Thanks, I have been taking B6 for 2 cycles, 100 mg. My doctor's office will not see me until Dec, so I'm going to have to wait! When you were ttc #1, did your dr do anything for you to fix the lp issues you were having?

They were going to put me on progesterone, but we decided to take a TTC break (it had been almost 2 years). I was tired of Drs & tests & losses & 2 surgeries. They told me if I lost 1 more pregnancy, they were going to send me to a reproductive endocronologist.
I have a friend who's a cardiologist & he's very into healthy diet. DH & I decided we wanted to be more healthy before we started to TTC again. I swapped over to an almost meat free diet (DH was not on board for that ) & started exercising more. I lost about 10 lbs & felt a lot better. I got preggo about 3 months after we stopped TTC. My progesterone levels were perfect & DS was born a healthy 9lbs 13ozs. I have no idea if it was the healthier lifestyle, the decreased stress or a little bit of both. Or honestly, just luck.
My LPs are longer now, but I'm on cycle 5 w/ no luck yet... so beats me. Sorry, I don't have better advice.

That stinks having to wait that long. Have you tried adding in progesterone cream? It's worth a shot since you have to wait to see your doctor anyway.

Well I am very pestery and outspoken with my doctors. If my doc wouldn't see me until December it would be time for me to go see another doctor.

I think from looking at your charts there is something going on with your luteal phase and you should talk to your doctor about it. If they don't want to see you call around and see if someone else will. I had three pregnancy losses before I had Jeremy and switched docs three times before I saw someone who would look into the causes. They started me on progesterone supplements and I really think that is why I stopped having miscarriages.

I don't think you should have to wait around for months when you know there is something wrong with your luteal phase.

I think trying B6 and progesterone cream would be helpful but I would get on the phone and be persistent about getting an appt with your doctor.

Is progesterone cream something that needs to be prescribed or is it something you can buy over the counter?

You can buy it over the counter. If you go to Amazon.com and do a search for progesterone cream you will see a bunch. I haven't used this so I don't know which brands are best.
