My chart is confusing me.

On Saturday, FF gave me my crosshairs and placed them at CD 15 with a coverline of 36.55 Then, on Sunday FF took away my crosshairs and hasn't give them back to me, even though my temp on Sunday didn't dip below the coverline. Now I'm wondering if I really did ovulate.

If I DID ovulate on CD15, chances are better for us. Any later than CD18 and I'd say chances are almost nil.

Here's my history: I do have PCOS, so it's totally possible that I did not drop an egg this month. I am currently temping orally, but plan on switching to vaginal temps next month. I record my temps in celcius, and while I have a pretty pink thermometer that is SUPPOSED to be a BBT, I apparently got ripped off, since it only reads to .1, not to .01 degree.

I am not good at figuring out CP/CF, beyond when I have EWCM, and yes, I only had one day of distinct EWCM. I will work harder next month at trying to record CP/CF.

But with the information that is available, what would you tell me?

It doesnt look like you O'd yet, it looks like maybe your body was gearing up to O? Do you use OPKs? What has your CM been like lately?
Dont lose hope yet, I didnt O until like CD25 and many women O late too. I would keep an eveery other day BD pattern going until you get CHs. GL!

I don't use OPKs. They are very expensive to buy in store. I found a site to get the for super cheap online (with pregnancy tests, too), but hubby doesn't want to shell out the money for that until we've been trying for a while.

CM is pretty hard for me to understand. I would say either absent or creamy.

It doesn't look like you have a thermal shift at all, so I agree with FF removing the CH's. It should have never given them to you in the first place.

It's too early to call the cycle annovulatory though. Even though ovulation doesn't seem to have occurred yet, doesn't mean it will not. I also have PCOS. I have ovulated(and conceived) as a result of ovulation as late as cd50 and cd58. Here are those charts, just so you can see:
38fa4 Ovulation Charts

The cycle is not considered annovulatory until it's over. So keep tracking and if you notice CM, BD!

I don't think you've O'd yet either... as for the OPK's do you have an ebay account? I've been able to get 50 sticks, mix of OPK and HPT for around $20 or less including shipping, and I did manage to find a seller from Calgary if you want the info

I completely agree with Shawna that it's too early to tell. You could just be having a long cycle. That happens from time to time for any number of reasons. I would just keep watching CM and whenever it's like eggwhites or really thin and runny, get to BD'ing!

And that sucks that you got ripped off with the thermometer. It's better than nothing though so keep with it until you can get a real BBT. And I agree with Tammy about going to Ebay for test strips when you are ready for them. They have awesome deals there! Good luck to you! Keep us posted as to what goes on!

I don't tend to have really long cycles. My longest cycle ever was 42 days. This was before I knew I have PCOS, so you can imagine how concerned I got over it. That cycle, AF showed up the day I had a pg blood test done.

Typically I don't go past 35 days. I average about 31-32 days. However, I already know that I don't always ovulate. My body will gear up to, and then just...not. I've had bloodwork done to determine my hormone levels. I don't know the results yet, all I know is that my file is sitting on my doctor's desk and she is on vacation until the end of the week.

Fingers crossed that I ovulate soon. Today or tomorrow would be good, since we bd'd on Sunday and won't be able to get back to it until Wednesday.

Well, as I said, long cycles happen to everyone at some point (even if they normally have regular, short cycles) and this could just be your point. You may be having an annovulatory cycle, but it could also be a long one.

Is there no one else at your doctors office to give you the results? Normally when a doctor is out on vacation they have another doctor fill in so patients aren't kept waiting for test results and such. Just a thought!

I think adding opks to your chart would help you to make sense of things. I have been staring at your chart for a while trying to decide what I think. I want to see what your temp does tomorrow before I weigh in with my thoughts.

I think it is really great that you are charting. I would try to add more data to your chart like opks, ovulation pain if you notice it, and any other fertile signs you notice (bloating, breast tenderness, etc).

Will do next month.

I do tend to get ovulation pain. They are like menstrual cramps, but in the middle of the cycle. I don't get it every month. Until now, I hadn't really taken stock of which months I got cramping. Just that it happened occasionally, like every 2-3 cycles. I found out about the PCOS halfway through last cycle, when I finally got in to see the ob/gyn (my ultrasound was done back in July). Now, in hindsight, I am starting to suspect that either the cramping is related to my cycles where the egg becomes a cyst, or that I only get cramping on months where the egg actually becomes an egg and is released. The cramping was something new that started about 3 1/2 years ago, but my (former!!) doctor brushed it off as "normal".

I stopped paying attention to my body's cycles on purpose about 3 years ago. I've wanted a baby for much longer than my husband has been ready to try, and paying close attention to my cycle (charting, noticing cm and other fertile signs) was making me absolutely baby crazy. I was never very good at trying to figure out the CM and positions and stuff.

Right now, I would say my CM is creamy/sticky. There's not really a whole lot of it. I'm pretty dry. Also, I can't really feel my cervix very easily, so I would say it's pretty high at the moment.

My crosshairs are back today. FF put them back where my ovulation day was originally predicted, with the same coverline as before. I guess I have to wait until the end of the cycle before I know if it's accurate or not.

Patty, what had your thoughts been yesterday?

I was thinking you could have o'd on CD17. If you move your coverline up to 97.9 you can see your temps after that date are all 97.9 or above (36.6 C sorry I always have to change it to F because my brain doesn't think in C).

My first instincts were that you did ovulate. I just wanted to see if your temp went up today before I made a decision. I think you definitely could have ovulated but your shift is pretty subtle. I would wait to see what your chart looks like over the next few days.

Thanks so much for the input. My temp went up again today, all the way to 37, which is higher than my pre-o temps.

So... good sign? I can cross my fingers and hope for the best, now?
