Will you dress her in pink? Do you want to dress her like a girly girl? Is this something you look forward to if you have a girl?

I want a girl so bad I can taste it!! And yes, she will be totally girly! Pink is my favorite color so I plan on having lots of pink for her to wear.

I don't know what I'll do if we have a boy. I won't be dressing him in pink, but I don't see where boys are as much fun to dress up in general. LOL

Hee hee hee. I wanted to have a girl for the pretty girl stuff too but then I never really dressed Angie or Lyndsey in super girly stuff. I thought I would but I am just not a girly girl. I like boy clothes and girl clothes about the same. I think dressing babies is fun any way you look at it.

I also like gender neutral stuff. It does get annoying when people ask you if your boy is a girl or vice versa but I still like neutrals a lot. You can reuse them with other kids and you can always put pink or blue hats on them. Not that that really helps because people can be dumb.

ROFL! I had a friend who had a baby girl (just a few months old) and finally gave up and started telling people stuff like, "Yep, I pierced my boys ears! Gotta get em started early if I want them to be a real red neck!". People honestly thought she had a boy and had pierced his ears! Of course this only ever happened when she was in Walmart...

lol, Michelle! I have 2 girls already and totally want another. But not to dress up. I have a name already picked out that I really really want to use! My girls always got dressed up in girly clothes but I'm not a real girly girl, so I HATED those crazy headbands, especially the ones with the flowers bigger than the baby's head! But this will be our last so you never know what I might do!

Sadly, it was SO true! I remember this one old guy coming up to us (yes, in Walmart) as my friend was putting her daughter's carseat in the basket (she was wearing a headband AND her earrings) and said, "Well look at those beautiful blue eyes! You are just too pretty to be a boy!".

My SIL is experiencing the same things with her baby! She dresses her in all pink, and she just LOOKS like a girl, yet people still say "aww he's too precious"... really?

DH and I were recently talking about what gender we were hoping for when we finally do conceive... and I was totally surprised to find out he wanted a girl. He said he wanted to do the protective daddy things with her. *melt!*

If we have a girl, I think I'll go with purple for her nursery, but not really worry too much about what I dress her in. Sure, I'll love putting her in adorable little girly clothes every now and then, but I'm not much of a girly girl myself, so I think something girlish enough (but not overboard) will suffice. Who knows, I'll probably change my mind by then!

I love a little bit of pink here or there so there are some pink things that I just cannot wait to put on a little girl but I also love brown and sage greens too.... Maybe I would do alot of brown with pink. A girlfriend of mine got her daughter these little levi jeans with the pink stitching when she was a baby and now I have this thing where I HAVE to have those levis too... I just turned into mush over those. And SOOO sadly Lori, I do love those headands.. They are nuts but somehow I just go a little goo-goo gaa-gaa over those!

But I think I want a boy because of my husband... He has never seemed gung-ho on a boy or girl, he has seemed to want either equally. He will be the total daddy that is wrapped around his little girls finger but I have seen the way he lingers just slightly over some boy things when we were out.

Oh lear Lord, please just give me either!!!!

I'll dress my little girl like a little girl... but that doesn't mean she'll have to be pinked out constantly! I do like neutrals as well... but, yeah, she'll have girly girl stuff for sure!

Yes, yes and yes! lol. I love girly girl things, and I am always wishing that I just had someone to buy them for!

But buying boy clothes is fun, too. I just love shopping in general, lol.

I would be totally excited to dress a girl! But actually...I'm more excited to do a girl's hair!! I'm sure that would last about 3 days...but Jeremy has always had such thick, long hair that I always want to "do" his hair (but don't, of course!!).

Lori, I'm with you on the headbands! haha

I'd love to have a girl, but I'm not really into pink or anything ultra-girly. I think that's going to be one benefit for me with not finding out the gender of my baby so I can ward off as much pink stuff as possible!
