This Clomid is playing tricks with my head (I peed on an opk and now I am confused)

My opk was not positive but it looked like mine do a day or two before I get a positive. I am on CD10 but I just stopped taking the Clomid on CD7 (and I took it in the evening too). I think it could just be looking like this because of the Clomid. Clomid can cause false positives if you take it while it is still in your system. So now I don't know.

Now I don't know if I should start getting busy now or save my energy for another day. I wasn't planning to start this early because I don't want to fizzle out. This is frustrating.

Did you take the Clomid then CD3-7 ? I only took it once, last cycle from CD 5-9. I wondered what the big differences are, if any, taking it certain days vs. another ???? Thoughts ???
When I did take it 5-9, my OPK came back + but a few days later than normal, it was hard to coordinate that along with my temps because my temps were so screwy those days I was taking the pill

I have read the answer to this before but I always get it mixed up. One is supposed to produce more follicles and the other is supposed to make more mature ones. I think. You may want to ask the girls on the medical assistance board because I am sure they would know the answer.
