Hi ladies!
Since I am still a newbie to the whole charting thing and it's only my second cycle, I have a question. It's starting to get cooler here (well it was the past couple days at least) and we turned the heat on. Would this affect my BBT enough to mess with my chart at all? Im just paranoid that I won't see enough of a shift when I O and FF won't pick it up. I guess I'm just more on-edge since this is my first cycle after my m/c. What do y'all think? Thanks!

I wouldn't worry about the heat being turned on affecting your temps. I've charted my last 9 cycles, minus the time I was pregnant with my son. And I've never noticed a difference in my temps when the heat or air conditioner has been on.

My chart has jumped the last 2 days, I think because we just put our down comforter on our bed. (plus my chart is just wacky this month) When we have just turned on the heat and haven't changed blankets I haven't noticed a temp change.

I agree. I think the heat actually will help you keep your temperature stable in your house. I'd just try and keep it set at a consistent temp so your house temp stays the same all the time.

I agree. I don't think room temp matters that much unless it is dramatically different than how you normally keep things. I try to keep my room temp the same as much as possible but I have had big temp rises even when I was chilly. I just don't think it affects your bbt chart that much.

I've read that any difference in temps you might see would be very minor and would still fail to obstruct the view of a proper temp shift... You'll still be able to see your shift
