I've got a quick question about my chart last month. FF says that I ovulated on day 22 and that my coverline was 97.3. However, some people say that it could've happened around day 14 due to me having a 28 day cycle. I'll be charting this month as well. My question here is, would it be possible to use this month's data to confirm more or less when I O'ed last month?

Side-question: When FF calculates for past pre-O temps, does it count the O temp as well as the period as well or not? Thanks in advance girls.

I think you could have O'd cd 14, but honestly there is no way you will know with half your chart missing. I'd just watch this cycle and see what happens.

Oh, that's a shame. I'm kind of worried though, about my temps this cycle.

On average, my temp is around 97.2 which is pretty high.

Is the period counted within the rounding of a pre-O temp? Is the dip during ovulation counted as well? Because I'm kind of worried about how high my temps have been so far because if I'm that high, that means that I might've really Oed on the 22nd day. I read in some places that people that have less than 10 days before a period after ovulation have a lower chance of conception.

No you wouldn't be able to use this month's chart to tell you when you o'd on your last chart. Each cycle is different and you will likely ovulate on a different day each cycle.

Your preo temps look normal to me so far. When you are on AF they can be a little higher and more erratic. The ten days before a period thing you are mentioning is a luteal phase defect. I think it is too early to say whether or not you are having issues with a short luteal phase.

Keep temping and see what happens this cycle. I really think you need to have a full cycle of temps to get a good picture of what is going on.
