It's kind of an off-topic question but I'm just really curious. Does sexual arousal the night before (and possibly acts) have any effects on the next day's temps?

No, it doesn't. That's why you should have a minimum of 3 solid hours of sleep before temping, so that your body can level your temperature off. The lack of activity, talking, etc. is vital to taking your BBT because all of those things affect the temperature that you get. So as long as you are getting at least those 3 hours of sleep, any arousal or sexual activity the night before will have no affect on your temp the next morning.

However, if you've been drinking alcohol you need to notate that as that can affect your temp the next morning.

One other thing...make sure you are temping at the same time each morning. If your waking time varies, your temps will not be accurate. I hope this helped!!

I agree with Michelle. It shouldn't affect your temps unless you are truly sleep deprived then maybe.

You just need to make sure you have 3 hours of sleep.
