Okay so I have not really been taking my temp this cycle but last night i did and it was 97.23. I took it with my mouth. I was not expecting anything i just wanted to make sure it was working. Well this morning i took my temp vaginally and it was at 98.1. why do you think after being active my body temp would be low compared to just waking up?

I have heard that vaginal temps tend to be higher than oral temps... that could be one of the reasons for the discrepancy.

I agree. Vaginal temps are higher than oral temps. Just stick with vaginal temping consistently through your cycle and you will be fine.
