My appt went awesome!! I told him how I was feeling and we talked for a bit about IVF and then he asked me if I wanted to get it done this year or wait until next year. I said this year if we can. So guess who is on the schedule for IVF in December!!! I was so not expecting to be able to get this done so quickly. He said there are two protocols for doing this one is the long protocol and one is the short protocol (don't really know the difference). He said there wasn't a whole lot of difference in the success rates so I decided to go with the short protocol so we can get this done this year.
So then he had me go in and do an ultrasound. It needed to be done before I ovulated. He put a catheter into my cervix and did some sort of measurement. He said it would have been better for me to have a full bladder but they can get better measurements when they do the mock transfer.
So I have an IVF consult scheduled for next Monday! I still need to get Kelly's semen analysis done. They only do it on certain days so I am going to have to wait until next week to have it done. He has to abstain for 2 days before giving his sample and since we bd a lot and didn't realize that it would be needed today, it will have to wait until next week.
I am so excited my head is just spinning. I still need to go read through all the material they gave me and wrap my head around things.
We are still going to keep ttc this cycle. But now I feel so much better. If it doesn't happen this cycle, and I really just don't think it will, I have something to look forward to in December!!!!

We have been ttc for over two years so we have been at this a while.

Let's not talk about the multiples. That is the only thing I am really nervous about. I would prefer you save your multiple vibes for someone who wants them. I am sure there are other girls ready to grab up that dust.
I am very excited though. Just nervous.
Edited to add: I don't want this to come out the wrong way. This is something I have thought a lot about. I would just be really scared if I got pregnant with multiples. The doc said my odds of having multiples were only 10-15% so that makes me feel a lot better.

Yay, Patty!!! I'm so glad you had such an awesome appointment! I am hoping and praying that you get a wonderful Christmas present this year. It sounds like you have a really good doctor as well which is always a blessing. I can't wait to see you get your BFP!

TTC on our own for over 2 years
Dx with Severe MFI- Blood work shows no Microdeletion and no CF mutations
Ultrasound scheduled 3/22- DONE! Everything looks normal, other than some cysts on my right ovary.
HSG scheduled 4/14- DONE! Tubes are clear!!
On BCP until our IVF w/ICSI scheduled for August!!!
