You guys will have to forgive me if I'm a bit in and out this morning... we stopped by a friend's house last night to pick up some of her old baby stuff that she didn't want anymore


I was thinking it'd be a few things here and there... but HOLY MOTHER!! Plus, she's got a BEAUTIFUL natural wood bassinet/cradle she is giving us! It looks brand new! The only reason we didn't take it last night is, as you can see... we had NO MORE ROOM! She's gonna hold it for us and we'll come by on a weekend when there's daylight as well.

So I've got TONS of stuff to go through to see what all is in these bags!! I'm so excited!! But I better get pregnant soon, otherwise all this baby stuff sitting in the house is gonna drive me MAD!!

That is awesome! I'm jealous! haha. It seems like all of my friends are having babies right now, so I don't know of anyone who has unneeded baby stuff to unload. Congrats on your good luck, though. That is too cool.

That is awesome! We were the same way when we were ttc Jeremy. I had his whole nursery put together. A friend gave me a crib and a changing table. I had lots of friends giving me stuff. It's great.

I think it may drive you mad but I think it is nice to have some of your purchases out of the way before you get pregnant. Plus, who doesn't like free stuff!

Yeah, she ROCKS!! When we got there she was giving me a basic "Okay, this bag is clothes, this bag has bibs, etc" and Danny said "Yeah, you can tell her what it all is, but she's just gonna take everything anyway!" HA!!!

Her husband actually said "You guys are taking all that? I should give you money for taking it away!!" So they were pretty happy to get rid of it all. They have two kids and he's been fixed... so they are DONE!

Ok, I'm diving back into receiving blankets and burping cloths!!

Okay... I've finally gone through EVERYTHING, and let me just say... I could give birth today and I think I'd actually be alright!! HA!!!

I've got 4 boxes of baby girl clothes, a box of boy clothes... mostly toddler stuff, brand new pacifiers, playtex drop in bottles, TONS of rattles, 2 Halloween costumes, tons of socks & bibs, a bouncy seat, a car seat, 2 baby tubs (one folds up) loads of receiving blankets, comforters, crocheted or knitted baby blankets, a swing to attach to a tree in your backyard and there was even a bag of maternity clothes!!!

I HAD to share pics of the things that made me go "Awwww!"


Okay... now all I need is a BABY! Story of my life, eh? LOL!!
