Just got home. She said my pain is A typical. It just doesn't fit into any one scenario. She's going to send me for laparoscopic surgery to see if that finds anything. I also have a requisition for blood work but I have to wait for cd 3 before I can get it done. She faxed a requisition to the hospital here for an ultrasound but I'll probably be waiting 6 months or longer. I don't know how long I'll be waiting for the laparoscopy (sp?) but it'll probably be a while. She doesn't have OR privileges because she doesn't deliver babies anymore but she's sending me to a doctor that she knows. She said it might be a while before I get a phone call but after that it shouldn't be too long before the surgery because the doc she's sending me to has a fairly short waiting list for surgeries. She's hoping that my body 'right's' itself and I get a bfp soon so that I don't have to go through all this stuff. She also upped my folic acid intake to 5mg form 1mg because a cousin of mine was born with spina bifida. So that's it. No answers but at least I'm on waiting lists now to get things moving if I'm not lucky enough to get a bfp.
They were all super friendly and I really liked the doctor. She actually listened to me! She listened and didn't make me feel like a moron like other doctors have. She also explained dh's sa results to me but the only thing I can remember enough to repeat is that his spermies have 90% motility.
I almost yelled at my dad tonight though. The other day he told me that it took a long time for my mother to get pregnant when they were trying and I asked my mother how long it took when we went there to pick up ds. She told me that her doctor had just put in a requisition to an obgyn for her and she got a bfp a couple days later. I asked how long again because she didn't answer and she said oh it took a while... 3 months.

I'm laughing now because they honestly think that 3 months is a long time.
