Thank you! I have a bit of time to kill though. My appt is at 2:30 and it's only just after 9 here I'll update when I get home.

Just got home. She said my pain is A typical. It just doesn't fit into any one scenario. She's going to send me for laparoscopic surgery to see if that finds anything. I also have a requisition for blood work but I have to wait for cd 3 before I can get it done. She faxed a requisition to the hospital here for an ultrasound but I'll probably be waiting 6 months or longer. I don't know how long I'll be waiting for the laparoscopy (sp?) but it'll probably be a while. She doesn't have OR privileges because she doesn't deliver babies anymore but she's sending me to a doctor that she knows. She said it might be a while before I get a phone call but after that it shouldn't be too long before the surgery because the doc she's sending me to has a fairly short waiting list for surgeries. She's hoping that my body 'right's' itself and I get a bfp soon so that I don't have to go through all this stuff. She also upped my folic acid intake to 5mg form 1mg because a cousin of mine was born with spina bifida. So that's it. No answers but at least I'm on waiting lists now to get things moving if I'm not lucky enough to get a bfp.

They were all super friendly and I really liked the doctor. She actually listened to me! She listened and didn't make me feel like a moron like other doctors have. She also explained dh's sa results to me but the only thing I can remember enough to repeat is that his spermies have 90% motility.

I almost yelled at my dad tonight though. The other day he told me that it took a long time for my mother to get pregnant when they were trying and I asked my mother how long it took when we went there to pick up ds. She told me that her doctor had just put in a requisition to an obgyn for her and she got a bfp a couple days later. I asked how long again because she didn't answer and she said oh it took a while... 3 months. I'm laughing now because they honestly think that 3 months is a long time.

I am glad to hear an update! I have been looking for one all night.

Is there anyway they can speed up the laparascopy? That seems like a really long time to wait.

Did she have any other advise on things you can do or try in the meantime? Or is it just a waiting game? I am glad you are getting started on things but feel bad that you have to wait so long on everything.

Oh yeah I forgot something. Her mouth dropped open when I told her that I was unable to get a follow up appointment after my miscarriage and that I never got a blood test to make sure my hcg levels were down so she included in my blood work an order to check and make sure my hcg levels are down. She was worried about it especially with my past molar pregnancy.

She's doing what she can to get me in for the laparoscopy sooner rather than later but because there is a doctor shortage here there really isn't much that can be done. She's getting me in with someone in her town instead of mine which helps because there are only 2 doctors here that can do it and they are both swamped. She said that sending me to the doctor that she has in mind will shorten the wait time but it might take longer to hear from her than from a different doctor. Shorter because other doctors have longer wait times for surgeries. The only advice she had was to keep doing my bbt, take more folic acid and just keep trying. She said not to worry about cervical fluid because chances are it will just confuse me and temping is more accurate anyway. She's right about the fact that it will confuse me, I tried last month and I didn't interpret it correctly. She did do an exam and said I have good cervical fluid for it being day 13 so at least I know that.
