For the gals that have been posting with me a while you know that I have had a terrible coffee addiction. I have weaned myself down to two cups of half/half decaf a day. I want to cut that out now. I have almost finished what I have left of my coffee. I bought a bunch of peppermint tea and am going to buy some other flavored teas. I want to be completely off the caffeine by the end of this month. I may go out and buy decaf just to help me with the cravings though.

Is there anything you need to give up?

Mine honestly is just boredom munchies! It's terrible... I love cheese crackers, tortilla chips, breads, and ANY kind of sweets. I don't know if it's considered an addiction but I can honestly say that I'm addicted to eating!

I gave up coffee a while ago. I went from 4 cups a day to nothing... I was cranky. Now I'm trying to give up junk food. I'm doing pretty well too. I mostly crave healthy snacks now.

I'm working on the caffeine too. The Dr wants me at 1 cup a day or less. I'm pretty much down to one large cup right now. This weekend I need to buy some good decaf.

I think the one I need to work on is my snacking on crap.

I've already given up the cigarettes, which was such a HUGE accomplishment! I'm still so proud of myself! I had smoked for about 16 years, once I got a couple of charts under my belt I decided I would give them up for a baby and I haven't looked back.

Now I've put on some extra weight... a few of my pairs of pants are juuuuust buttoning up, so I know I need to slow my roll! HA!!

I am proud of you too!! I cant believe you quit cold turkey after 16 years!! I quit 3 years ago after smoking for just 2-3 years, I just put myself on a diet and focused on that. Like my dad said, he would rather see me put on a few pounds than to smoke. Plus, you are already small as it is, so I bet you cant even tell!

I'm just working on making good food choices and adding in some more exercise.

I'm keeping the bad habits I have. I tried giving up the caffeine when I found out I was prego (I got knocked up this time last year), but it did not work. I learned to have less though.
