I just started charting last month after having a m/c and counted the m/c as cycle day 1. I have been having normal CM for the past week or so. This morning I noticed that it was creamy with a pink/bloody tinge. It has been like that all day (not quiet real blood but not plain cm either). It is mostly when I wipe, but I put on a panty liner and have some on there too. It seems to be a little heavier than spotting but not a flow.

I'm not sure how I should enter that in my FF chart??? I had a blood test last Monday to check for any hCG and they called me back saying that my levels were normal and to expect my cycle to become normal again soon. I'm assuming that this 'spotting' has something to do with the m/c maybe as I don't usually spot during my cycle.

I have been using OPK's, should I keep testing?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated

I think you can put down both spotting and creamy down in your FF. But other than that, I'm just as confused as you are. Sorry.

my first cycle post m/c was a mess. I suggest just waiting this one out. You wil probably ovulate later than normal. Your next couple of AF's may be kind of strange too. Unfortunaley post m/c our bodies are going through all kinds of wierdness. I'm sorry for you loss.

I agree. I would mark both creamy and spotting. The spotting could be from your body trying to ovulate again. It is hard to say for sure. Miscarriages can cause your cycles to be off for a month or two, sometimes longer. I would keep using your opks but if you still have some hCG in your system (it sounds like you don't but I wasn't clear on what "normal" meant) it could cause you to get a false positive on an opk.

You may ovulate late this cycle but hopefully your body is getting back on track now!

Sorry about not being clear on the hCG thing. It is normal again in the sense that I'm back to pre pregnancy levels. I totally forgot to ask what the number was from the blood test, the Dr was testing to make sure that my hCG numbers went down.

Since I made this post my cm has turned to 'slimy' (TMI sorry), but still is tainted pink. It is stretchy also. Just so wierd to have this happen today when for the last 10 days it has been creamy. Also my boobs are slightly tender. Who knows what is going on in there lol.

I'll just mark today as both spotting and creamy. I have only been using the OPK's once a day as they are expensive and I'm not even sure if or when I might ovulate this cycle. I think it's just best to wait for my next af and start over fresh

I had spotting and creamy cm for a few days after I Od the cycle after my m/c as well. I have never had spotting at any other time in my cycle except before/after AF any other time except that first cycle after the m/c. I'm guessing it was my body getting back to "normal". I would mark both of them down in FF. I skipped the OPKs for that cycle too...we weren't going to really try b/c the doctor suggested waiting at least a month.

Thank you all, it is very helpful to know that this is 'normal' after a m/c.

In the past few hours it has turned into a light flow and more like af. So maybe tomorrow will be the start of a new cycle if it continues to be a steady flow. Although since starting to temp, my temps have all been in the 97 mark. If and when af comes shouldn't I have a temp shift?

You can have spotting with ovulation. If it's mixed in with slimy CM, consider it highly fertile!

There is no doubt that it is AF In fact, I have never before had such a heavy AF, it is crazy heavy and has been all day long. So a new cycle begins for me Hopefully I will have a somewhat normal cycle and can get to enter some good stuff on FF, keeping my fingers crossed
