We have always used condoms. I have tried the pill a few times and each time it gave me horrible migraines. I hate hormonal birth control because I have such bad problems with hormonal type migraines. I get migraines really bad when I am pregnant too.
What did you use/did you use birth control?

Prior to TTC David we used BC and then condoms because I don't like how BC makes me feel.
After David we used no latex condoms until I got my PPAF and then we started using Natural Family Planning

I tried Desogen, Yaz, and Loestra... I used the Desogen for years and then after we stopped, got PG last year and lost we, I got back on the pill for a short while. It was Yaz for a month or two and it was horrible so they put me on Loestra and I stopped taking anything the following month. I get seriously crazy headaches with the pill... I get them very bad anyway but they just made it even worse, if that's possible. So if we ever get to have a baby, I dont think I'll go back on the pill... I don't know what we'll do yet though.

When we first got together we used condoms. After being told I had cysts on my ovaries, I went on the pill to try and level my hormones out (that's what they told me to do) I was on Yaz for about 2-3 months then my job changed our insurance and Yaz was waaaay too expensive, so I went back to good old Ortho Novum 777's. I used to take them back when I was 18.
I took those for maybe another 3-4 months... then we stopped using anything. We had already decided we wanted to have children, so we didn't feel the need to prevent anymore.
It's been 7 years at least since I took any kind of birth control.

Before my DD I was on the pill for several years. After DD was born we used condoms or PNP, once I got AF back we've kind of done a lazy method of condoms, NFP, & PNP

We have always used condoms. I have been on birth control pills once for about 2 months but I hate it and refuse to use any kind of birth control besides condoms.

Wow! I thought we were the only married people in America who used condoms. I refuse to use bc because I have a strong family history of heart disease and worry that they could harm my health. We have used condoms exclusively. If and when I have my first kiddo, I want to try out NFP.

I used bc pills way back in the day...but I hated them. We used condoms.

That is what I am thinking I will do after my next baby. I never considered it before because I was completely uneducated about my body. Now that I realize how easy it is to chart and know your fertile days I really think I can handle it. I would probably use a combination of condoms and charting though.

We used condoms before we were TTC. I think we will use a combination of condoms and charting to avoid in the future.

I've never been on bc in my life.. Heard about how bc can be bad for the body and TTC and never wanted to give it a shot. Then again, never had a reason to even need any sort of bc until four years ago, when I met DH, anyway.  But that's another story. LOL!
As for the past four years.. we were going to use condoms but never found any DH liked. Instead we used a combination of pulling out and Kegel exercises for men. Clamping down in certain areas with those muscles not only makes for longer erections.. it can also stop the flow. There was absolutely no way for an "oops" because absolutely nothing would come out.
