After all of that.... AF is here! My temps are still high, but the bright red bleeding is here, so i give up. I just don't get it. I feel like i can't trust my instincts now. i hate that.
I was hoping to start clomid this cycle, but by the time my doctor will be open again, i will be cd4. That's probably too late already. Input, clomid girls?

Ugh...I'm so sorry she showed. I don't have any input on the Clomid, but I know someone will.

Stupid witch! I'm sorry Alice. She just won't get the hint that she's not wanted 'round these parts!!
Hopefully some of the Clomid girls will be able to give you an answer about when you can start it. I'm pretty sure I've read about some girls being on it from CD5-CD9. So if that's the case, you might juuuust make it.

Do you have a prescription yet? Or do you have to call to get one? I would see if you can take it on CD4-8. Normally, they prescribe it either on CD3-7 or 5-9 but I think you can take it on CD4-8 too. I would just ask.
Is there a reason they won't be available until then? I can't imagine an OBGYN not being available for so long. If they have pregnant patients it's not like they can just go MIA. Do they have an after hours number you can call? If so I would just call and explain that you don't want to miss out on this month.

my doc is closed friday sat, sun. But I decided i want to do one or two more natural cycles. I'm going to try soy isoflavones this month. Hopefully they will strengthen my o and extend my luteal phase. I hear clomid can have negative effects on both cm and uterin lining. I'm going to try the soy, i can always jump on the clomid train later. I don't relish the idea of so many doctors appts so close to the holidays either.

I think this is a good plan but I think you should go ahead and get the prescription. Then you have it on hand and don't have to worry about. You don't have to take it now but once you have the prescription you don't have to worry so much. This is what I try to do with my prometrium prescription. I just like to have the prescription in the event that I need it. I think it would eliminate some stress for you and Clomid doesn't expire quickly like some of the fertility meds so you could keep it around for a while.

probably not a bad idea, patty. I shoud call and ask for both clomid and progesterone scripts.
Is it weird that i'm really excited about taking soy? It seems so silly lol.
