This would be my first time charting my temps and I am just curious when in your cycle do you start checking? Also I have overactive bladder and I get up 4-8 times a night to go to the bathroom, will it even be worth it to temp?

I hope you can get started on charting I just started and am addicted already (still trying to learn the in's and out's).

I can't help you too much about having to get up a lot to pee, but I do know that you should try to have a least 3 hours solid sleep before taking your temp and you have to take your temp at the same time every day. Not sure how that will work out for you, the girls here will have much more for you. Good luck and I hope it all works out

I think it is worth trying. If you find that your temps are erratic and it is just not working for you, you can always just chart your other fertile signs like cm, cp and o pains and stuff. Where are you at in your cycle? It is best to start either while you are on AF or right when she is ending. If you don't start early enough you may miss your thermal shift.

What I would do is pick the time when you are the most rested to temp. You should be getting three hours of sleep when you temp. I would go with the time that you wake up feeling half asleep and groggy as your temp time. If you can get a good block of sleep block of sleep right before you wake up in the morning use that as your temp time but if you are finding yourself too awake in the morning pick one of your get up and pee times as your temp time. Just be consistent with the time you choose.

I am on CD2 , I was thinking of starting in the morning and seeing how it goes from there.
