Oh gosh I am so excited right now. Everything went really well. The nurse explained everything to me. I feel so overwhelmed with all the things I need to do. We have to have someone sign for guardianship of our embryos since we plan to freeze some (just in case the first cycle doesn't work) and that has to be signed and notarized.

Kelly and I have to get a bunch of bloodwork done ASAP. It is HIV tests and chlamydia and Hep tests. I am sure we are fine but it's just one of the things you have to do. I told Kelly and his immediate reaction was WHAT! I hate needles. I am like quit being a big crybaby. LOL.

So they ordered all my meds. I won't start them till I get AF and I can have them sent to me as soon as she starts. So I don't have to pay for them just yet. The pharmacy called me and gave me the price on them, which it was expensive but WAY better than what I was expecting. Plus, the nurse gave me a bunch of donated medications!!!! That really helps. They can overnight them to me as soon as I need them so I feel so much better.

I need to call them as soon as AF starts and get a blood draw to check my FSH levels and then I have to get an ultrasound. Then there are a whole ton of meds you take and I can't keep it all straight. She said she would help me with it. Some of them are given at specific times and she said she would call me and I would have to take it within 10 minutes of the time she said. They are injectable meds so either Kelly or I will have to give them. I told her I could do them myself. I have been to nursing school in the past and have given injections before so I know how to do them. She doesn't think I can do the intramuscular one myself and thinks I will need Kelly to do it but I think I can. I guess I will find out. We have some training video we are supposed to watch on their website. I told her I have two nephews with diabetes and am comfortable giving injections.

I am so anxious now. I only have to wait a little longer before we get to start. I am 6DPO so hopefully next week I will be starting everything!!!! OMG! It is going so fast!

Oh and she told me not to pee on any tests!!! Like I am going to listen to that. LOL. I know why she said it and I am not going to tell her I peed on them but darn it I have a zillion of them. I get a beta done at 14 days past the retrieval and then another one 2 days later. So I will know for sure when the beta is done but I am going to pee on my tests anyway and just not tell her.
I just won't count them as BFPs. I just want to be in for the pee party next cycle!

Patty, that is awesome news! I hope it only takes one try! It sounds like you have a great dr! You obviously didn't tell her that you were a POASaholic. =) I'm glad that you'll still be participating in pee parties! How exciting, though!!
