I'm fairly new to charting and this is hopefully my first chart where I O (previous chart was after m/c). Today I had a huge temp increase. I was thinking that I may have O'd around CD 7 or CD8, but FF still has to give me crosshairs. I'm really not sure at all. Any input from you ladies would be great Thanks!!

Do you normally have really short cycles? CD 8 seems really early for an ovulation date unless you have really short cycles.

You do have positive opks though so I think that could be your o date but you also had a really big temp spike today. I think I would wait to see what tomorrow's temp. Hopefully FF will give you crosshairs.

I'm sure that this cycle is strange because of the m/c (cycle right after m/c was only 16 days and no O)
My cycle length is anywhere from 23 - 29 days going by my records before m/c. I just have to try and be more patient, since starting charting I seem to want to 'know' everything as soon as possible lol.

Having a miscarriage can throw your cycles off. Mine went back to normal pretty quickly but I have seen other girls that took a few cycles to get back to normal. If you have had 23 days cycles before I think you very well may have ovulated on CD8 but I won't be surprised if it is CD11 either. Either way it sure looks like you ovulated to me.

Wow, you had a huge temp spike this morning. I wouldn't be surprised if FF gave you crosshairs for today in a couple days. But, I agree that it definitely looks like you've ovulated. GL!

Right now I'll be very happy to know that I O'd I'm not sure if our bd'ing was good as dh is wanting to wait until Jan to really start TTC, so it's been hard to try sneak in the bd'ing without making him suspicious lol

This whole charting thing is very interesting and I'm so happy that I finally started do it. I'm temping orally right now but will switch to vaginally next cycle in the hopes of more even temps, I seem to zig zag a lot.

definitely crazy looking~

i second what patty said, m/c can definitely mess up your cycle. Mine went right back to normal (pretty much) but others can take a few months to get back on track. I'd keep temping and watching for fertility signs (CM, and other signs) and hopefully you'll get CHs very soon. That is one heck of a jump today!!

on your chart can be a lil messed up after a m/c... take a look at mine, I had a chemical pg last cycle, and FF gave me CH's for CD 8 for the longest time and now I'm on CD 50 with no O at all. Now, I'm just using that as an example, I was irregular before but always O'd by CD 23... if your cycles are short, I think that CD 11 given todays huge temp spike makes sense. Good luck!

Tammy I hope your O comes very soon for you (((HUGS)))

Girls, I'm a real ditz. Thankfully my thermometer has the last temp stored, when I checked it last night before bed I saw that it said I was 98.12 and not 98.72. I am so sorry
On a good note, my temp is still in the 98's this morning.

Your temps are looking real good. Seeing the wrong temp sounds so much like something I would do. Just pass it off as it was early in the am. Good Luck!
