I wasn't totally surprised about this but I am disappointed. I went in for my ultrasound today. He asked me if I had passed any clots over the weekend, which I hadn't. I kind of thought there might be a problem since I knew the last ultrasound showed a bunch of clots and I didn't pass any of them. So anyway he did the ultrasound and I still have a lot of clots in there.
He was afraid to have me keep taking the medication and me not respond to it because of whatever is going on with my body at the moment. So he prescribed a prescription of birth control. I am to take it twice a day for 3 days then once a day for 15 days. Then I should start AF and hopefully be able to do IVF with my next cycle. I am hoping everything falls in line because it is cutting it close to Christmas. Their office takes some time off for the Christmas holiday so if I can't get started in time I am not sure what will happen.
So I am guessing I am going to have a heck of a period this month. I wish I would pass these clots inside me and my body would be good. I am kind of upset because I took two injections already of the Gonal-F and that stuff is NOT cheap! I didn't mention that to dh. He knows these meds are expensive but he doesn't know how much each item costs and I am sure he would be really upset if he knew that much was just wasted. I wish they had just done the birth control at my last appt and saved me the money.
I bought me a new thermometer today. Not sure why because charting on birth control is totally illogical but I will probably do it anyway. I guess I wait now.

What a drag man!! Well... who knows Patty! Maybe we're meant to get our BFPs together... I won't have a script for Clomid til next cycle.
We're gonna be able to empathize with each other so much this cycle!! I'm totally like... this month can't go by fast enough!! I want to hurry up and get in, see the doc, get that script and let's GO!!
Sorry about having to use the meds though... that's the rub, ya know? Hopefully it won't put a cramp in anything for next cycle!

That stinks Patty. I hate the waiting game too, it makes things go so slow!

*Hugs* i'm sorry Patty. What a disappointment. I wonder what was causing all the clots?

I am still trying to figure that out. The only thing I can figure is that it had something to do with my LP being so long last cycle/and or the Clomid. I need to go do some reading on this. I haven't heard of anyone else having this issue from Clomid though so I don't know what on earth is going on. I keep thinking I am going to start passing some tissue and stuff because I know it is in there and needs to come out but so far nothing.
