So... today was all kinds of hectic which is why I didn't get to be on very much.
I did, however, manage to schedule Danny's S/A.
Next Wednesday morning... he's got a date with a plastic cup!! I knew he'd never get around to calling on his own, so I did it for him. I told the lady that I needed the results back to my doctor by December 7th and she said that's definitely not a problem.
So... we'll probably have a go on Saturday, then he'll have abstained for 3 days. Luckily the sample will be before O Day.

I totally know what you mean about this. I made dh's appt for the same reason. I hope that your dh does better than mine does at telling you the results. Have a nice long talk with him first and/or make him sign over all his rights to his spermie news! For some reason I think your dh isn't going to be as annoying as mine was.

Same here...I kept telling DH it was his big day & made 2 appts. (which we never followed thru with having him do the specimen on those dates) but finally on the third time I had it scheduled I said to him "cmon just get it over with"....it was not as easy as I thought (or him for that matter) and was one of the weirdest/most uncomfortable things for both of us ( I assisted a bit with the whole collection ordeal) DH was so relieved when it was done and said to tell them they need bigger cups, it just is bizaare and so un-natural !! Anyways.....you will both breathe a BIG sigh of relief when its over. Let us know how your results turn out

Luckily the place is less than 10 minutes away so at least we can collect it at home and not in one of their little rooms, ya know? LOL!
I'm not quite sure how to manage everything so that we don't have any... unfortunate "splashing" incidents, but I'm sure we'll do alright. I'm sure he's gonna ask for my "assistance." LOL
When he got home and saw the cup, he said "I don't have to fill that, do I?"

If you are doing it on Wednesday, I think you will be fine if you do things on Sunday. Dh and I bd on Sunday and then he did his analysis on Wednesday. They just like you to wait at least two days. I thought he would have better results after two days. Plus, I wasn't sure if dh could abstain that long. LOL.

I am glad my experience could help someone out. LMBO. I like to learn from others' mistakes as well.

We are about an hour from our office and they let us bring ours from home. I don't think dh would have been too happy if he had to do this in an office.
Dh didn't have "collection" issues. He didn't need my help either. LOL. I was a little worried he wouldn't be able to do it under pressure like that but he did fine. (I hope he never reads this.)

I'll only be CD 8 on Sunday, so anything we do probably won't live long enough to be helpful, but I'll take it anyway!
The earliest I've O'd lately is CD 13 which would be Friday. If I do O on Friday it will be cutting it a bit closer than I'd prefer, but we should still be alright. FF actually has my fertile window from Friday to Sunday. I'll have to get him to BD every day for the rest of that week and into the weekend.
Wait. That's the week of Thanksgiving... HA! That's fantastic!! Danny is off for Thanksgiving (obviously) and Black Friday, so I'll have him for a 4 day weekend while I am O'ing!! Clomid would've been such a nice addition to this cycle!!!

I hear ya! At least you know if this cycle is a bust you have some good things to look forward to. I know that that helped my mental state a lot.
