but I had the worst splitting headache yesterday. From the moment I woke up, it felt like someone had jammed an ice pick right above my right eye.... and it stayed all... day... long!!

What really sucked about it was that I HAD to get up and take Danny to the train station, because I had to go pick up his s/a specimen cup. The office that is less than 10 minutes from us only has Wednesday morning hours and his s/a is scheduled for next Wednesday, so this was my one shot to get that cup!

Somehow, I got it all done, but once I got home I put my footy pajamas on, pulled the curtains closed, ate some Cream of Wheat, took an Aleve and curled up on the sofa. Wally (Waldorf) curled up behind my legs and Puff (Statler) curled up in front of me. I fell asleep and hoped I would feel better when I woke up. Yeah, no dice on that. Woke up with the exact same level of pain I had when I fell asleep.

Danny joked around about the Swine Flu because we've heard that it starts with a really bad headache. Because I temp, I knew that wasn't it because I didn't have the fever that comes with it. Danny thinks it's because I was eating sunflower seeds the night before and that I got dehydrated from the salt on the shells. I dunno about that. That seems like a pretty intense headache for that amount of salt. So, who knows? At this point, I'm going with "I just had a bad headache." Not everything means something, ya know?

So now I'm finally getting back into my normal routine, I'm a few days behind schedule... I'm finishing up my laundry for the week, I vacuumed, brought in some kindling, unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher and now I'm sitting down for a cup of coffee and some coupon clipping. It's a very grey, misty and chilly day here. Would be a great day for baking. Maybe I'll take a stroll through the old pantry and see what I've got the makings for. Hope you're all having a great day!!

I spent half the day in bed yesterday due to a headache too. I didn't want to whine about it again. LOL.

I am glad you were able to get everything done.

Oh bake me something! I have no energy to do anything right now, I could just sleep at my desk.
Glad you are feeling better. Sometimes we just get headaches for no reason. Not that it means anything now, but you could have been slightly dehydrated, I know I get a mild headache if I get dehydrated for too long. Either way, at least its gone!!

I'm glad you feel better, I hate headaches. Baking sounds like a very good idea. I'm thinking maybe some cookies and apple crisp here.
