I don't consider last time a "cycle" b/c I hadn't had an AF since giving birth, I just finally ovulated at almost 10 months PP and now AF is here today.

Depending on when I actually ovulated, I think I had a luteal phase defect. Although I think I may have O'd a few days before my temps rose, based on my CM. What do you think?

Anyway, if it was a LPD, I'm hoping it's just b/c I just got done BFing. Hopefully this first "real" cycle is better. *crosses fingers*

I bet your body is just trying to get back on track from giving birth and from breastfeeding. It will be interesting to see what your chart looks like this month!

YAY for Cycle #1!!!

And I have to say , I think your body may still be in the final stages of regulating... I'm sure your LP will return to it's usual length very soon.

YAY!! YAY!! YAY!!! How exciting for you!!

I don't think you are having a luteal phase defect. My first PP cycles were the same way. I think this is pretty normal when you have just stopped bfing.

Here is my first postpartum cycle.

You can see a shift on my chart but my LP didn't last very long. I was so new to charting then that I didn't realize that I could have ovulated.
