Is it normally around your o date or in the 2ww? Do you do anything to prepare yourself mentally before you temp?

I find myself saying please be up, please be up, please be up in my head as if that is going to make my temp go up. I sometimes will pray before I look at my temp too.

I do the same thing! It's when I expect or at least hope to be O'ing soon and then it's in the TWW, like right about now, when I know AF could come at any moment so am waiting to see the temp plummet. Oh the suspense!

I do, especially last month being on clomid I was so excited and when it started to look like I wasn't going to O I got disappointed every time I looked at my temp in the morning. I'm taking a what will be will be approach this month so I can keep my sanity, next month I'm going to stop temping since I'll be monitored by the Dr.

I'm nervous every morning right now. I have long cycles and I'm not sure I've even been Oing. This is my first cycle charting. I thought I O'd 2 days ago based on pains and pos. OPK. Then, my temp rose today (but i think it was because my room was warmer than normal). But this morning, I got another pos. OPK! I don't know what's going on. I"m nervous about checking tomorrow's temp, though. I"m so worried it's going to be low.

Yes. I was anxious this morning as I had spotting yesterday, so I figured my temp would take a nose dive and it did . Sure enough af showed up this afternoon. So begins a new fresh cycle

Yep, and it's at both times! The only times I'm not nervous is during AF...because who cares then!
