My body is making me crazy. I am on CD13. I thought AF was gone yesterday because I didn't see her around all day. Then I wake up this morning and she is back!

I am starting to get concerned that she isn't going to start again after I stop the bcp because of how long I have had her this cycle.

For the girls that have used bcp does AF normally start as soon as you stop taking the active pills?

If I remember correctly, it did usually start pretty quickly after the active pills, but my periods while I was on BCP were always SO light and sometimes nonexistent. It may have been the kind I took though, I took Yaz.

I'm sorry you are having such a long period, I hate that!

i'm sorry patty. If I can remember correctly.... I think I would take my last pill on a wednesday, and get my period on a friday....

When I was on Yasmin, I would take my last active pill on Sat and start on the following Thurs (the Thurs of the inactive pills). AF usually lasted 5-10 days for me on Yasmin. When I was on Yaz, I would take my last active pill on Tues and start sometime between that Thurs and Sun (Sun being the first day of the new pack). AF usually lasted between 4-7 days on Yaz for me. There was one month that I didn't have AF at all on Yaz, which was really weird, but that only happened once.

I think my period would always start 2 days after I took my last active pill and only last 3 days, from what I remember. Did you call to ask if this is what they wanted/expected to happen?

Ugh! I don't have anything to add on the bcp, but I hope your AF stops soon!
