Does Prometrium cause false positive opk or is this a real surge?

So I am on CD20 and didn't have a positive ovulation test and temp was still low so I decided to start my prometrium this morning and took 1 (200mg) pill. Tonight I took a digital opk and got a smiley face! I won't continue the Prometrium but could that have caused a false positive opk? not sure what to do....

I don't know the answer to this but would be interested since I just started Prometrium yesterday

I just called my endocrinologist and he said that taking one pill of prometrium (200mg) should have no affect on ovulation or LH surge and my temp spiked up today!!!


This may be the first O I've had on my own in 9 months!!!

That was an awesome temp spike! I hope you did O... did he say to keep taking it or to stop?
