((HUGS)) It looks like FF took your crosshairs away. You ovulated really late on your bfp chart so maybe you will are just going to ovulate a little late this cycle.

So you are not taking Clomid now? I am not sure how the progesterone cream would help other than to start a new cycle? I see lots of girls that have longer cycles. You may still ovulate. You just haven't yet.

Have you talked to your doctor about using Clomid again? Sorry if you have already posted this. I sometimes have a hard time keeping up with everyone.

well we not ttcing exactly yet. so when we get desperate i will go onto clomid. the progesterone will start a new cycle. i dont want to wait to long to ovulate because i have PCOS and progesterone usually stops the hormones that causes the cysts and if i have any large cysts the progesterone will help shrink them.

I see. I need to do more reading on PCOS.

I hope you will be able to start ttc soon.

Patty, come check out the PCOS board Since I got diagnosed with it it's amazing how many women have it I know for me it explained a lot of things about me and my body that I was just so frustrated by and didn't know why I wasn't normal... overweight and have a hard time losing no matter how hard I try, excess facial hair, acne like I'm 15 again, irregular cycles are my top 3!

Most docs that treat women with PCOS will give them something to bring on AF if they go past CD 21 without O'ing, I was shocked to learn that but it makes sense.

Ok, I totally hijacked this thread!

My doc just referred me to an OBGYN and didn't want to start me on anything so that he could deal with me on a clean slate. I begged for Prometrium to bring on AF because I was at CD58 with no O when I saw her... one cycle in the time most have 2, and I know some women go even longer which is crazy!

I have to make a plan for myself, but I bought a bunch of books on the low GI diet, I don't have Insulin Resistance but it's supposed to be the best way to eat if you have PCOS. I am overweight and need to lose some for sure, I'm hoping that may help a bit. I've done WW in the past and always hit a brick wall and got stuck and PCOS was probably the reason... I needed to eat different foods so hopefully that helps!

I probably won't get an appt with an OBGYN for a couple months which sucks, but we'll keep ttc in the meantime

Next cycle I'm going to try Vitex to see if it will help with my hormones at all.

Are you doing anything for your PCOS?

This cycle im doing a homeopathic tincture from my local health shop. its got vitex in it... so far this is one of the longer cycles... the thing it has helped though is my male patterned baldness area is sprouting some new hair which looks ridiculous!! people keep asking me whats going on and i just, simpathy hair growth for my dd. lol

it has helped my acne and my temps are relatively stable otherwise its done nothing to relieve the cysts or the lateness of O... unfortunately its clomid or metformin for me and im still waiting on my doctor to let me know about giving me met.

it sux that you have to wait to get in with your ob! here i just call him up and i can get an appointment that same day! with any ob for that matter.

PCOS sux! i hate it and being as impatient as i am its not the best disease to have! lol
