I have a question about my temps and mucus. I've been having watery CM since AF. On CM 15 and 16, I had EWCM. CD 16 started out EWCM and later in the day I noticed a noticeable change from that to sticky CM.

Since CD 17, I've had a higher temp, but it was only up by .1 degrees. Also since day 17, I've been almost totally dry down there. My problem is my temperature didn't have a drastic increase till day 19.

If I just went by my CM and the o pains, I would say I O'd on CD 16. If I just went by temps, it looks like O day might be the 18th. So which is correct?

If you don't have fertile mucus on O day or even the day and a half before, how are you even able to get fertilized?

I've heard ShawnaCan say that often some women don't actually ovulate until a day or two after their fertile cm has gone away. I'm not sure how it all works out or what all the details are... but I do know that she knows her stuff!

My chart suggests this happened to me this cycle and I was JUST searching FF charts wondering if that happened to anyone else. I should come straight to JM for answers in future

I appreciate this question and info

My first post-partum ovulation (pre- first AF) was like this, it's in the link to my chart in my siggie, dated Nov. 3rd. I thought my body was just gearing up to ovulate but didn't actually do it b/c my temps didn't go up and all of my EWCM and cramps were gone for 3 days before my temps went up. Weird. I'm not sure what that means for TTC. If you are supposed to BD when you have EWCM but don't O til a few days later, the chances of having very many spermies around at O time are pretty slim. We're going to use Preseed this time around.

I was thinking the same thing when the cm disappeared without any temp rise. I wasn't charting before this cycle but the same thing may have happened last cycle too just based on cm and when af arrived.

I'm happy knowing it isn't abnormal

I just don't understand how I can have O pains two days before O. At least I know I had a lot of CM this go around. I might have a sliver of a chance.

I had cramps, EWCM and my cervix was soft and open....then every single symptom disappeared and my temps went up 3 days later. I *think*ShawnaCAN also said some women's bodies react slowly to the progesterone after Oing and it may take a few days after Oing for your temps to rise. So yeah, on my last chart I have noooo idea when I really O'd.

Good luck this cycle!

My charts are like this all the time. It used to confuse me. I often dry up a before I ovulate, sometimes a few days before I ovulate.

Cd18 looks like your o date to me.
