This is only cycle 2 for me but still....I have taken an opk everyday from cd8 to cd 21 and they are no where near as dark as the control line. My cm has been sort of egg whiteish for the last 4 days but I have no positive opk or temp hike?????? I have been BDing just in case.

I am doing my opk test at 5:30 pm everyday with holding my pee for 5 hours (I have a large bladder) and restricting fluids. I can't afford to test twice a day so I figured holding my pee that long would be like testing twice a day, right?

I am using target brand opk....last month during my first cycle off b/c my opk tests started getting darker about cd 12 and 13 but because I wasn't testing twice a day by cd 14 is was back to very faint, I know I missed it.

Why does it take so long to O? As I see my opk stash dwindling, I am almost in tears. I don't know if I can deal with this for much longer.

Just wanted to cry on a cyber shoulder...

Hey sweetie, just wanted to let you know- not O'ing is a key symptom of PCOS. You may want to check out our FAQs thread on the TTC w/PCOS board and think about talking to your doctor. Check it out here:

http://www.justmommies.com/forums/f1...ere-first.html (PCOS FAQs! Updated and Expanded! Newbies, read here first!)

Of course, if you usually O normally it could be any number of things and everyone has an 'off' cycle now and then. Sorry you're going through this!

I'm sorry! It is hard to say what is up without seeing your charts. I really liked the opks that I got online. They work great and are much cheaper. I got mine at a place called early-pregnancy-tests.com.

That is a great cheap site, along with eBay for IC if you have a paypal account, I use Wondfo and there is one seller where you get 30 OPK's and 10 HPT's for 1.05 plus like $4 for shipping, that's pretty cheap especially if you're fairly regular and don't end up using 60 in a month like I did this cycle

Thanks everyone for the input. I think I may have gotten a very close positve opk on the night of cd23 so maybe I am just highly impatient......

I can relate to your frustration. I got a + OPK on CD 15. Then another + on CD 17. Now it's CD 19 and I've got - OPKs but no temp spike. GRRR!!

I hope your CD 23 test was a + for you!!

((HUGS)) I think it is very good that you are charting. I buy my opks online because they are so much cheaper and have never had any problems with them. I think testing once a day is fine if you have longer cycles and especially if you are charting along with. If your tests start getting a little darker I would go to twice a day.

The ewcm sounds promising. Hopefully you are getting closer to ovulating. Good luck! Lean on us as much as you want. We are a good set of shoulders.
