So it was 17 days ago when I started thanks to taking 10 days of Provera. Last night I noticed that the TP was slightly tinged when I wiped, but thought maybe it was just a fluke. But this morning when I wiped I definitely have the start of AF happening.

I know that my doctor had told me to keep charting for this same cycle because the bleeding from the Provera wouldn't be a real AF, but I'm wondering about the timing of this. Does anyone have any insight to this?

I guess I am confused about why she would say it wouldn't be your real AF? I thought the whole point of taking the provera was to bring on AF. To me if it is a heavy flow and not a light flow or spotting I would chart it as AF and see what happens.

Don't worry Patty, I'm confused too. I just don't get it, but that's what she said. I noted it on my chart so that I can go back and change it all after my appointment on Thursday. LOL

Yeah, I can't wait to ask her why she wanted me to keep counting this as the same cycle and if I should have started a new cycle before, then that means that I went from a nearly 100 day cycle (when I started AF from the Provera) to an 18 day cycle! That's a bit crazy!!

We're trying to find out now if I have PCOS, that's part of the appointment on Thursday, to see if I have cysts on my ovaries.

And just to throw in another monkey wrench...I didn't start AF. ??????? I had a bit more blood tinged CM, but that's it. So maybe I'm O'ing??? I dunno. I give up till Thursday. LOL

Oh gosh Michelle. How frustrating. Every time I look at your chart I just feel so bad for you. I am kind of hoping your temp is up tomorrow because that might make for a better appt on Thursday.

Ug I'm 40 days behind you but feel your frustration! I overlayed our charts, my temps are a lot lower than yours but our general pattern is very similar!

This really is very frustrating. I'm back to having blood tinged CM again. I am just going to keep marking it as spotting on my chart so that I have a reference to it.

And this cold weather is playing hell on my temps. I believe that todays temp would have been higher, but I spent most of the night chilled because we didn't turn the heater on. When we woke up this morning it was 62 degrees in here!! So I'm not counting today's temp as accurate by a long shot. LOL

Tam, that's so weird that our temps are so similar! I just saw your post about it taking so long to get an appointment. I sure hope they get a move on it for you.
