Hi I am Amanda....

I am not TTC at the moment but just charting to see if I can O (I have PCOS and have been on the pill for almost a year) on my own. I have charted before for almost 2 years, but never had temps like this (this low). Just curious if anyone else has or what you might make of my chart...

Your temps are a little on the low side... you might want to check your BBT just to be sure it's giving you accurate readings and that the battery isn't dying or anything.

Since you don't have any other charts to compare it to, it's hard to say whether this is normal for you or what. I will say this... temps can fluctuate wildly from month to month. I've had months where my temps were down in the really low 97's and others where they seemed to fight to stay below 98.

There may be a possibility that your temps are a bit low due to coming off of the Yaz. I have no expertise on this subject... perhaps some of the other girls may have some wisdom to share on this one.

But I'd recommend giving your BBT a test... take your temp in the evening and see if it gives you an accurate reading. If it does, I'd just kinda ride with it and see how the rest of your cycle unfolds.

You can go to my profile and get my chart (I dont want to upset anyone by showing my siggy ). If you O this early in your cycle, be VERY thankful! BCP can really mess with your system.
I am with Nikki and its hard to say exactly what is going on because this is your first chart. I will say that your fertile CM is a good sign, as is that nice temp dip. I think we will be able to see a clear pattern within the next few days. GL!

my BBT is brand new it's a pink one from Walgreens....

i guess as always with charting being patient is best....

That's exactly it... Sometimes the only thing for it is time... it answers most questions, just not when we always want it to!!

I am definitely no expert but the fertile CM and the temp dip are definitely good signs!!!!

The dreaded pink & white Walgreens thermometer! They should put a warning on that thermometer...a bunch of us on here have had some issues with it. I had one, and after a month or 2 I ended up buying a different brand.

I do think we'll get a clearer picture of your temps in a few days. Good luck with charting!

Oh yes I hate those...but this one was with the pg test and it's big and solid pink?!?! Before when charting I went through those pink and white ones like candy...stupid things!

yip that's it...

haven't had any issues with that one...

just the older one they had that was white with the pink top...

it's looking like it was just me and not the thermometer now...just took time and patience something I don't have
