HI Ladies,
This is my first post on this board but I've been lurking since I started charting this cycle - it's my 2nd cycle off the pill. I have seen that you're experts on charting so I thought I would ask your help with a specific question.

Well it's been getting colder up here in Toronto and I had been cold for a couple of nights' sleep so a few nights ago I turned on my space heater. I can't remember exactly when I did that but it might correspond with my temp jump yesterday morning. Now I am nervous because I don't know whether my higher temps, which might give me CH (I played around with tomorrow morning's temp and I might get CH if I maintain my temps or even if it goes a little lower), are true temp jumps or only a result of it being warmer in my room.
I DID have positive OPKs on Saturday and Sunday which you will see on my chart (my first temp jump was yesterday).
Do you think the temps jump yesterday could have been because of my heater and not my own temp? And what should I do tonight, keep the heat on or turn it off? I'm so mad at myself because I might have ruined a whole month's chart by adding this variable.
FYI, the open circle for Sunday's temp is because I went to sleep at 3am but I still took my temp at the regular time of 7-7:20 so I put it as sleep deprived.

Thanks in advance!!

I'm new'ish here also, so probably won't be of much help. Did you increase the temp in your room a lot? If you only made it a little warmer I think you should be ok. I'd keep the room temp to where you are comfortable and keep charting, you look like you are right around O time so you should start to see a clear shift/pattern on you chart in the next few days.

Yeah, a space heater wouldn't cause that much of a variation in your temp. Extra blankets and stuff like that can make a difference in your temps, but not to cause a spike like that.

This was a great question! I was actually going to ask the same thing since I think yesterday was my official O day with the big drop in temp that I had yesterday morning. I finally caved and turned on the heater in my house last night so it was warmer than normal and experienced a huge spike this morning.

Oh well.. I guess we'll just wait and see!

Thanks for your replies. I turned the heater on again last night, but only to where I would feel comfortable and not too hot. I got a huge temp spike this morning and got CHs.. well I guess time will tell.
Thanks again!!
